It's a nice range but it's very very pricey. The workers are great and helpful with anything you need to make your visit pleasant.

The range itself is good. The staff out front are very helpful and pleasant, if you have shot before they treat you like an adult. That's been my experience each time I go. However, the minute you get into the range, there is always an old guy that scolds you like a child for every little thing. For example, putting the target higher up. They scold you and make you feel like an idiot. Then they stand there with a scowl on their face as if you being there is an inconvenience. It's honestly uncomfortable and makes you want to leave. When I got there earlier someone was on the lane I was assigned. I said something and they guy didn't even respond to tell me he was going to help, he just walked out of the range and got on his micro the front desk then yelled and said " just go on 5" as if it was my fault. I'm not sure I'll be going back just bc of how he made me feel. read more

For a Sunday morning range day, I stopped by Manchester Firing Line Range. I arrived just before their 10AM opening. A few patrons were already lined up outside. By the time my exited my vehicle and grabbed my equipment, staff had opened the doors and starting letting everyone in. The patrons in front of me grabbed 4-5 lanes, so I was easily able to secure a lane; I was loading and making ready to fire by 10:15. They kept my ID for the duration of my range session and charged me the listed rate of $25 for a non-member, one lane-hour fee. Facility seemed well kept and modern. Ventilation worked well; I didn't notice any gunpowder residue clouds wafting around. It also seemed decently sound insulated. The guy a few lanes down shooting his binary trigger AR didn't bother me much. read more

I've been enjoying Manchester Firing Line, they have a good selection of new and used firearm inventory in the front of the store as well as a nice range in the back, one side for members and one for visitors. I do wish that the range's waiver would be valid for longer than 90 days, all other ranges that I go to/have gone to keep the waivers valid for 90, but what can I do? While the entire staff is wonderful, Brandon is great. I keep visiting because of how awesome their staff is, though I do hope that they fix their AC, it makes it impossible to use the range. read more

Because of Tom, I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-day course. I learned so much about firearm safety, home security, self-defense, and more, which helped me to be excited to learn how to properly shoot a firearm for the first time, instead of being terrified. Tom chose a 1911-380 for me to practice, which I liked so much so that I purchased their 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro the same day. I had an excellent experience. :) One weekend a month I travel to NH in order to play poker tournaments in Concord and Manchester. I added something new on my visit in August. After sleeping in a hotel overnight, checkout time is 11am so I have a lot of time to kill before the tournament at 6pm. Last week I decided to spend some of that time at Manchester Firing Line, so I brought a few handguns with me on the trip. I'm a trans woman and am usually at least a little nervous when going someplace new. The staff made me feel very comfortable and the atmosphere appeared to be LGBT friendly. That isn't unusual because I've found most people and businesses to be that way, but it still makes me feel good. It was a wonderful experience! The ranges are clean, well lit, and well ventilated. Their target retrieval system is the nicest one that I've ever seen, though I don't shoot in commercial ranges very often. It was very easy to understand and the controls were simple to use. I plan to make Manchester Firing Line a regular part of my poker outings. Can't wait to visit again in a few weeks! :) read more

Heres an example of a absolutely terrible business model, but first a background: I moved from cali and decided to purchase my first firearm and take training with it seriously. I joined MFL membership at the time july 2023 was 199 with a 175 renewal fee. fast foward to today 7/27/24, i was about to renew my membership, just to find that the price increased to 275! thats a 57.1429% increase from last year! also if i did fork over that, "membership" lane rentals went from 9 to 12 dollars. Well maybe their will be some kind of extra perks or MAYBE the lanes have been renovated (i.e better sound dampners, new target rails, etc) NOPE! everything is still the same, they literally just changed the pricing. Even as my time as a member I was still restricted, i was put in the public range side even though i had a membership, i was limited to one hour during what they consider "rush hour", even though i made a reservation for both occasions. so i dont know what or where the new pricing gets me but i did notice they completed a new section of the building for making your gun cooler a la Call of Duty. Which is cool, maybe "Members" get something outta that? NOPE! So new pricing, same place and no new perks. for the cost of 300$ (new members) and 275 (renewals, which btw can change again next year, like this is some kind of rental agreement for an apartment). YOU DONT EVEN GET GRANDFATHERED INTO YOUR RATE! your at the whim of the yearly changes! you get nothing new and nothing added. Which is sad cuz nothing more upsets the heck outta me than watching a business drop the cost of useless renovations to the customers. you might as well join a outdoor range at that price, where you can train with dynamic movement, not be scared of someone next to you or have a range officer yell at you for no reason. end rant. i wont be coming back here again and i hope this place learns how to properly keep patrons. so sad read more

First time handling firearms for both of us and we left exhilarated. We signed the waiver forms on their website which saves around 15 minutes and waited around the range until our names were called. We rented 2 glocks , a fully automatic weapon, and about 5 boxes of ammo I was very intimated initially to handle the Glock but Carlos assisted us very professionally. There's really nothing to - comes down to muscle memory. I was pleasantly surprised how much power comes out of the barrel of handgun, you really have to offensively hold it. Next was the big boy, started with semi-auto then went full automatic. Carlos recommend an aggressive stance with the machine gun. I had a lot of fun and glad that I'm now competent with guns which was my goal. read more

Id not been shooting in about 35 years, my wife had never. After some debate over 'if owning a firearm is necessary', as well as given the potential dangers of mis handling weapons, we decided it was time to learn. And in the 'measure 3 times cut once' mentality booked a 1 hour lesson on a Sunday a month ago with Leo at MFL. We explained ourselves as 'walk us through this as if we're 6. We know nothing'. Leo did exactly that. We felt completely safe, informed, and came out an hour later FAR more comfortable. The discussion in the car was 'well... i guess that was ok but it was a little nerve wracking.. i cant see it becoming a hobby, but it was fine' Fast forward a month. We are now MFL members, own 4 firearms and counting frankly because it's FUN!, and frequent the range. Jake the owner is a great guy, in fact every person there has been excellent, and lending to the 'safety feel', all are either active or retired military. We THOROUGHLY enjoy target practicing, and have gone from 'how do you hold this thing?' to 'ok these are a lot of fun, what should we try next?!'. If you have curiosity, and you'd like to go someplace comfortable that will walk you through everything and doesn't act like you're an idiot, MFL is a fantastic starting point. Nice, clean and well run. I'm from Mass but make the trip over the border here with my daughter for daddy-daughter-date night. Rentals including full auto if you're into that and the instructors are very helpful. I feel safe bringing my 13 year old without fear of some inexperienced person accidentally pointing to the restroom with their firearm. The staff are very diligent. As a previous student of MFL's classes and former police officer, I recently completed Tom Brown's (MFL instructor) CCW's Role in an Active Shooter Situation class. I found the classroom training to be insightful, informative and engaging. The videos shown of live, active, shooter situations made the potential reality that much more sobering and tangible. Tom has an effective teaching style that's very informative and no nonsense, but injected with humor and related storytelling. The range portion of the training was fun, competitive, professionally and safely organized, and a bit humbling. Tom tells you what you need to hear, versus what you might want to hear. I particularly enjoyed the practical and candid debriefing after the "tent scenario" that simulated entering and clearing a shooting scene, and engaging the shooter. I'd highly recommend any of Tom's classes for safe, professional instruction for shooters of all ages and backgrounds. read more

This is a very safe and clean firing range that has plenty of parking. Came out here recently and rented the Sig P320 X-Five, which was a nice 9mm. My partner also fired the Sig P365 XL and loved it. When we first came in, we filled in paperwork because we are not members. Then, chose the firearm to use for our visit, ammo included. The staff was very helpful during registration and talking about the different options for weapons. They explained the range safety protocol and about the air flow on the range. On the indoor range, there was a range safety officer there who helped with tips for myself and partner. My partner hadn't been at a range for many years and the refresher was very good, particularly from a fellow Army veteran. I didn't remember his name but he was very helpful. The range safeties rotated while we were there, which was about 2 hours. Thanks again for providing a safe location. We will be back again most certainly! read more

Every time I go to shoot, I stand at the register for a couple minutes. Understandable, when it's busy, but most of the time I'm there, it's not. The last time I went in, not sure who it was, but he just sounded like he was having a rough day. The way he was speaking to me and other customers, sounded like he didn't want to be there. The range itself, is simple to use, a little outdated compared to other indoor ranges in the area, but not bad. The price to shoot is also similar to the indoor ranges around as well. Prices of items seems to be a bit higher than the local shops. Overall, it's not a bad range. But the last couple of times wasn't that great of an experience. read more

Very professional and helpful staff. Relatively cheap. Never noticed how expensive bullets are though hahah, me and 2 other guys traveled very far just to shoot at this range and we're so glad we did. It was a blast! 5 stars! If you're total beginner like us I would absolutely recommend get at least an halfhour with a trainer to get you started on how to use the distance machine works,then how to load the guns, guns safety and how they shall be respected and stance and he'll shoot a few rounds with you getting all the beginners jitters out. After that it's piece of cake. I highly recommend trying a handgun (Glock or 1911) and especially an AR-15 with red dot sight. They are highly accurate at 60 yards even on a small target, even though some of my friends didnt quite get the hang of it at first, they would in the end with help from the great staff so everyone had so much fun. Remember. Treat the staff with respect and they will return the favor, these are dangerous firearms and should be treaded as such. Safety starts with YOU! If you dont understand something, don't be afraid to ask the staff! You can be damn sure we'll return to this range in 2020! read more

I have been here several times. I have not yet officially become a member but I can say without a doubt that there is no cleaner, more organized or SAFER range out there. I plan to become a member soon Check in process is usually pretty quick and they get you on a range right away. The cleanliness of this facility is insane. You could most likely eat off the floor safely. Each range has a supervisor who takes their responsibility seriously and I'm grateful for them as some folks quite frankly can be yahoos. Each lane has an advanced target control to position your target exactly where you want it and is very easy to use. You don't have to drag your own cardboard there as they have some on each lane that you can staple your target to. They even provide the staple guns! The best part of this place for me is the ability to rent a cleaning station to take care of your weapons before you even leave the range. This is especially good if your wife is tired of you using the kitchen table to clean your guns, even if one of those is hers. If you are even remotely local and need a great range to shoot at, this should be the first place you come to. read more

zero stars been to this range a few times never had any issues with trying to shoot just always in got my shots off and left well me and my stepbrother went there today and we got denied to shoot because they could supposedly smell weed there was other people in the building but we got pointed out for it and told we weren't allowed to shoot today and we could go back to shoot tomorrow it just amazes Me that he kicks out a veteran that has more gun knowledge and safety than him. Got a half hour private instruction with T.J and he was great! I was a little nervous after not shooting for a while but he was able to provide a few tips to shake off the nerves which helped. Also able to tell me exactly what I was doing wrong by looking at my groupings. Definitely will be back again and recommend him for lessons. read more

He continues to be passionate about instruction, insightful, engaging, relatable, and very patient. He is extraordinarily professional. My family and i have taken my third class with him (personal protection in the home). Thomas Brown will get you set with the right foundation so you can move on with appropriate skill set to practice with and develop consistency. Importantly, the classes are reasonably priced and available. Most other instructional facilities in the state or booked out for six months or over price. You will get exceptional quality education here at a very reasonable price. If you want to get put on the waiting list then fine. In the meantime, go to MFL to get better. read more

I was browsing Google Maps and Groupon for a firing range in NH to take my brother as MA didn't allow underage shooting. I found Manchester Firing Line Range and got in contact with their supervisor which confirmed to me that I am able to bring my brother. I purchased the machine gun experience to use at anytime which came to $131. The package came with targets, eye protection, and ear protection for two. It also came with 100 rounds of 9 mm along with the Uzi. Any other guns are extra charges. This wasn't the case in a range we visited in VA which allows you to swap free of charge, just buy the bullets. As we were checking in, the person asked if we wanted an instructor as we never shot before. He also said that we'd be charged $35 if we accidentally shot the target holder, but wouldn't be if we had the instructor which cost the same. In the end we opted for it. We also rented a Glock 17 ($20) and another box of 9 mm ($22.40). I'm not sure if we went over the 1 hour lane time that came with the package but I ended paying an additional $97.40 for the three things I mentioned. I should have asked for the receipt, but I was riding the high at the time. Value wise, I feel that this is on the pricier side as we paid over $200 for an hour. When we were exiting with our Glock 17, a range staff ended up instructing us in a rather annoyed and harsh tone to go back into the range. After confirming with us that we were checking out, he asked where our basket was that was used to bring in the gun and ammo. Our gun was already pointing up with the magazine out and the orange safety tab inside the gun, not sure how he though it would have been less safe that way than laying in a basket. We were also not told initially by the other staff to always keep the fire arms within the basket. Overall, it was a good experience shooting wise. As for the one off staff experience, that in itself would bring my rating down to a one star. read more

We came on a weekday early afternoon and it seemed to be slower in business, with few members coming in to reserve their own lanes. We requested an hour long instruction session and were assigned an instructor, Carlos. He was patient and showed us the ropes, giving us chances to break our "anticipation". He was with us the entire hour and gave us equal chances to improve on our aim. I was nervous but he was able to teach us well enough to hit perfect targets. MFL has a new facility diagonally across from the old facility. Saying it is a clean, well lit place would be faint praise. It is perhaps the cleanest, most well run, most well ventilated, modern range I've ever used. It can handle every common pistol and rifle caliber. Because of the state of the art backstop, there is no need to use frangible rifle rounds. Full metal jacket is fine. Members have their own section. Self defense is a human right. Be willing to use it. Get some. Training that is. Note: Be sure not to hit the ceiling of the range. They will charge you an extra $25 for damage. read more

I came here as a first time shooter for my 19th birthday and I loved it!!! My friends and I got 50% off admissions since it was ladies night (Sunday). We waited about an hour for lanes to open up after we arrived. It was a bit scary at first, but the staff made the process very comforting. The safety range officer, Jim McGuire, was very patient in helping us. He taught us everything we needed to know from loading the guns to aiming them correctly. He was so funny and charismatic, an overall awesome person! We were experts by the time we left thanks to Jim.
