I noticed what I originally thought was a cold sore and when it never healed I called the office and was told I couldn't be seen till Aug 29th which was a 2 1/2 month wait.. I asked to be put on a cancellation list to get seen sooner if possible but on August 28th I get a message they're canceling my appointment and when I called back I was told it was going to be 3 months before I could be seen.. thankfully I contacted Empire Dermatology and got in on August 29th and was told it was skin cancer and had a biopsy done.. THANKS FOR NOTHING NIAGARA DERMATOLOGY!! Don't wait your time with this office they're much better ones out there and thankfully I found the best one with caring staff!! read more

The receptionist finally showed up, I was told my appointment had been cancelled by their other office because I wasn't in the state??? Yes, my phone number is a 510 original area code number but I live in Buffalo. It's not like this is something new. I was never notified of the cancellation. did I want to reschedule? This is the same dermatology group that is in Lewiston. I've been to both, but this location is closer to my home. A couple of years ago, I was trying to get in with the very popular Dr Lenahan, but my problem was pressing and the wait was MONTHS for new patients. My general practitioner referred me to Dr Miller, and I was able to get in within a week. Dr. Miller splits his schedule between both locations, so he's only at this one on Fridays. I'm not positive which other dermatologists also work here, but I've only ever seen Dr Miller, so he's the only one who matters for the sake of this review. Today I took my mom in to see Dr Miller about a skin cancer scare. He found two insignificant spots that he froze off for her. Everything else was good. Mom is 80. She loved him! Mom's appointment time was 11am. Usually I'm 15 minutes early for my appointments, but traffic was awful this morning and we made it with five minutes to spare. Mom had paperwork to fill out, so I wasn't expecting to be seen right away. There were a good half dozen others before us. At no later than 11:03, the nurse called my mom's name. I was still filling out the paperwork for Mom when it was her turn to go back. (Incidentally, this has been the case every time I've seen Dr Miller -- I never have to wait!) The nurse asked Mom a few questions about why we were there, gave her a gown, and left. Within five minutes, the doctor was in for the exam. Dr Miller is a skilled dermatologist with a fantastic bedside manner. I appreciate a good sense of humor, and his is wicked! He's very good about explaining himself & has really awesome stories. My husband is not easily impressed by anyone, but the one time he went with me for my skin cancer check, he left the office remarking how much he really liked this guy. If you're looking for a dermatologist for any of your skin issues, I highly recommend him. The fact that I referred my 80-year-old mother to him should speak volumes. I'll never go back there again!!!!!! I went 13 months ago and apparently they scheduled me for a yearly visit. Who the heck remembers that? Well I got a bill for $25 for a "no show" last week and trying to persuade them to drop it for a new appt. I made last week. They told me their auto call machine said they called me 5 times in one day and I didn't answer. I had pulled the phone cord out of my wall jack to avoid being harassed by my bipolar sister wanting money. And I got a new cell phone and lost all my appointment notices that cannot be transferred unless manually. So they still didn't understand that!. Go to another pimple popper is my recommendation!! This place is shit. 3 months into being a patient and multiple phone calls, mistakes on the med assistant and dermatologists end and still no prescription or progress. They act like they are helping and going to do xyz, but then nothing happens. They don't provide voicemail and the ability to reach them is very limited. They take an hour and a half lunch (with no voicemail option) so if your only time to call is noon or after 5 due to work -you'll be shit out of luck. Do NOT recommend. read more

This office has the most unprofessional staff and the physician assistant had no bedside manner. My teenage old son was very upset after William Goode remarked at how just horrible his acne was. (!) He showed no compassion , and he talked at him / us . He spoke a mile a minute and my son told me he felt like he was more condemning than caring . Who does this? ! what kind of Medical Office doesn't answer their phone ever, and expects patients to always leave a message and wait for a call back? How hard is it to actually answer a phone call? You also have a patient portal that allows patients to "Email/message" their doctor, which obviously after 4 days waiting, is also never answered. Its no wonder all your online reviews are 1 star on yelp and google etc, from patients stating the same thing. When I called them, I was on hold for a very long time, then rhey said to leave a message. When I called back again the recording said they were at lunch. This only has one star because I can't vote no stars. Worst doctor I have ever been too..... I went to them after being referred by someone, I was on steroids for months and finally decided to go get checked out, I'm not joking when I say the doctors I had googled my symptoms I explained on his phone right in front of me and then told me I had an incurable disease. He literally showed me the web md results. They prescribed me with some pills and never told me what they were, I had to ask my pharmacists what the heck they even sent over because I was so unsure. And then they scheduled me for a follow up appointment and never gave me a card or a follow up call to remind me about my appointment. I was never planning on going back so I'm undersure why I had an appointment schedule again. So that was a nice bill I got in the mail out of nowhere. Please do not go there. My first initial appointment was a disaster, the Front desk staff was not friendly, and after paying a $40 copay my appointment was rushed, my concerns were not properly addressed, unfortunately I will have to pay another $40 copay to go get a second opinion. (Possible Melanoma Cancer) read more

I wouldn't send my dog here....drs are rude...talk down to their patients....could not give me a proper diagnosis ...so i suggested tests...she pretty much called me crazy...they cant diagnose any condition that is more complicated than acne...so i went to another dermatologist...they ran tests and found out what was wrong...i suffered two more months because they have no professionalism on listening to their patients...a joke....should be closed!!! read more
