Her suggestion was to go to same Plastic Surgeon who she KNEW there was a problem with and seemed quite entertained by it. Kept asking if I needed his #. Found another Plastic Surgeon on my own, but needed a referral. After lots of calls trying get that done, they got a referral and gave me an appointment for a year later, Must have been some referral. Funny thing, went a different Dermatology Office, who sent me to an ENT who called SAME Plastic Surgeon and got an appointment in 2 weeks. Do NOT appreciate having my health screwed with. Since have found another Derm Practice that has been absolutely amazing, and had the issue treated with great results.

I was so pleased to see this one open up close to home, and with walk-in hours, no less! My general practitioner recommended Dr Miller just before I was to have spinal fusion surgery. I had some weird blisters pop up on my foot a week or so before my surgery, and it was making it painful to walk. I knew it would be difficult to try to complete physical therapy post-surgery if I couldn't step on my foot. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get in to see the area's most well-known dermatologist, so my doctor gave me Dr Miller's number. I had an appointment for two days later. He diagnosed my blisters (related to eczema) & prescribed a steroid cream. They were almost gone before I went under the knife! Since then, I've seen Dr Miller for my annual skin cancer check, skin tags, and "weird bumps." I visited this location for those same eczema blisters, and while I was there for that, the PA who see me noticed I had a mole she didn't like the looks of, and one that was in a place difficult for me to see. Fortunately, it was nothing, but I'm grateful for the experience and proactive stance taken by this group of dermatologists! I should also mention they are a fun group of people. She looked at every mark, which is the way it should be. Everyone was so nice & very easy to talk to & explain things to. They were REALLY listening & comforting. Unfortunately, I did not see any improvement at all after completing all of my sessions. Throughout the process, they took photos at each visit, but when I asked to review the before-and-after results at the end, they refused to show them to me. The waiting area is very bright and welcoming, and everything is so clean - a wonderful first impression that says 'details matter here' and made me feel like my care will be stellar. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Shortly after arriving (hardly any wait time), I met Dr. Ashley Knavel. She performed a small procedure on me. Now, the procedure itself is not a pleasant one but Dr. Knavel made it bearable and worked quickly and carefully to complete it. It certainly wasn't my favorite part of my day but she did a superb job and was very gentle. I hope to never need this procedure again, but if I do: I'd go back to see Dr. Knavel. I did read the reviews here on Yelp - you should probably disregard *all* reviews prior to 2022. When I was in the office, I learned that this location (353 Kenmore Ave, in Tonawanda) used to belong to *another* dermatologist and that DeLuke Dermatology acquired the space a few years ago when that dermatologist retired, and even expanded the space. It is my understanding that this location has a completely new staff from the staff that was here prior to 2022. Which makes sense because everyone I spoke with or was helped by was very pleasant. Oh, and: they have their own parking lot, with plenty of spaces.
