My husband and I visited Nice n Natural this evening and they had some delicious smoothies. We ordered a large Hangover Stopper Smoothie and a small Green Energy Smoothie with Ginger, and both were really great. Next time, I will definitely get a large one, because I wanted more. We also ordered a few other items, including the Quinoa Salad, Tuna Avocado Sandwich, and a Blueberry Muffin which were fresh and satisfying. Lately, I've really been focused on my mental and physical health (newsflash Jared.. they're so connected!) and have been making my own shakes, smoothies, and juices. One of my best friends and I hit the gym together recently and he suggested we grab a juice before go. Now I'm often weary of getting juices because of all the added ingredients that tend to get thrown in and because they're often not organic (hence why I've been making them myself) BUT I checked out their Yelp page and their website and was blown away by their attention to detail. I immediately saw that they were organic by reading reviews from fellow Yelpers and from their "From the Business Section" on their Yelp page. When I clicked through to their website I became even more excited when I read their "Promise" and "Juice Bar Pledge". For many years when I felt like I needed a reset (physically and mentally), I have ordered the five day juice detox. While, it is certainly not inexpensive, as you could easily find other premade juice detoxes elsewhere. However, there is somthing about having these organic juices freshly made each day. I am welcomed with a smile, and by name each time I pick the bottles up. The juices are numbered (6 bottles), you can taste the freshness. I find doing the juice cleanse very helpfulf for a variety of reasons. I think they taste pretty good, even bottle number three, my least favorite because I do not like celery). I do not feel hungry and I feel refreshed and reset by the end of the five days. I do highly recommend it. I had an issue opening the bottles, they had some fancy tops that were so challenging for me to open without the juice spilling all of the place and the manager made sure that the next set of bottles had the old fashioned tops so that I could simply open and drink without the hassle of trying to figure out how to get the newfangled bottle tops opened. I appreciate that I was heard and actions were immediatley taken to accomodate me. I have enjoyed other smoothies, snacks and the vegan sandwiches. This place is solid in terms of truly healthy eating. read more

There's a perfect balance of fruits, spinach and kale in it so that it still maintains its sweet taste. There are no added sugars and syrups like a lot of other places. They by far have the best juices. Most juices are hand-pressed so it does take a little longer. But it is worth it. I recommend the simply veggie juice. It's light and yet press well enough where there isn't much pulp (for lack of a better word) left in the cup. If you're looking for something sweet the simply juice is amazing. Apple orange pear all hand-pressed. I'll leave more tips as I try more drinks at the moment I haven't gotten over how good these two are yet. read more

Came here for the first time today. I looked up their menu prior but decided to try something different when I arrived thanks to the help of the gentleman working the counter. While the smoothie, and service were great...the food just wasn't. -Green Energy Smoothie: 5/5, this was delicious. Perfect blend of leafy greens and fruit. Very "Nice N Natural" ;) -Vegetable Dumplings: 2/5, I've had veggie dumplings many times so maybe I was expecting something else, but for lack of words these were pretty gross. Tasted like they were just filled with bland half cooked rice. After soaking them in soy sauce they became bearable. The fillings just didn't work, if there was some tofu and vegetable chunks maybe they would've been better. -"Sushi" Roll: 3/5, consisting of mango, rice, and some other vegetable these were alright. Better than the dumplings for sure, but really just kind of tasted like sesame seeds and rice. The wasabi & soy sauce saved it. Overall, I would definitely recommend and would come back here for a smoothie or fresh juice. But I personally won't be opting for the food again. Decided to try this place out twice consecutively before writing this review. When I came here yesterday for the first time, I did not think the staff were friendly nor helpful. This place really wasn't all that except for the "organic" smoothies and wheatgrass shot. As I was browsing through their sandwich and salad section, I noticed that the 2 kinds of salad (tuna and crabmeat) that I wanted to try was going bad, it was very watery and when I mentioned it to the owner, he took them back to the kitchen and said new ones will be in this afternoon... He then said he can make me a new tuna salad so that's what I ended up getting plus a green energy smoothie. Prices are definitely on the higher side but that's probably because it's organic and sugar/wheat/gluten free. I honestly didn't care for the organic part and just wanted something a little healthier to drink since I've been pigging out all weekend long. The smoothie was good, just really small (12 oz) and their tuna and crabmeat salad that I got today were both okay, nothing special. Anyways the older gentlemen behind the counter js very friendly and he emphasized in letting his customers that all fruits are organic and that no sugar is added, thus a fruit smoothie is $9. So while is expensive, you do pay for organic fruits instead of frozen fruit, he put all the fruit right in to the juicer and in a minute you have a fruit smoothie. Staying the night at Hyatt Place for a couple nights, I got tired of eating garbage for numerous meals. Within walking distance was NNN, so I decided to check it out. Was going to skip on getting a smoothie since it was quite frigid out, but there was so many positive reviews on them, I just had to try one. I attempted to get the kiwi one, but they were out of kiwi, so I opted for the acai berry. By far the best smoothie I've ever had. They don't use any milk products or sweeteners, just pure fruits that are organically grown. After having this, I wonder how all those kiosks in malls can call what they serve smoothies. What they offer is so chemically asphyxiated that it ends up being a paste. I guess they just can't grasp the whole "smooth" concept of the drink. Picked up a couple vegan sandwiches as well. The vegetable and the avocado. The vegetable was a bit hard to eat. The bread was fine and the vegetables were fresh, but it was just too green for me. The taste just wasn't there. Too bitter, maybe? The avocado was excellent. Very soft to bite into with no strong after taste. I have a couple avocado trees in my yard, so I'm going to try and re-create this sandwich when I return home. Staff was inconceivably nice with smiles on their faces the entire time I was there. Two Asian folks, father and daughter, I think. The daughter was quick to tell me every detail on where the fruits and vegetables came from and how it all was prepared. They were located in the city since 1987, but two years ago they moved into their Long Island store. I really hope they're in business for another twenty six years. read more

This is hands down the best smoothie/ juice store in NY. I have been going to Tim since 2016 and he never fails to disappoint. Tim is so kind and he truly cares about his customers. He goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy and his smoothies are exceptional! I have been using his juice cleanses for years now and I refuse to go anywhere else. His juice cleanses are fresh, high quality, and they taste amazing! I have tried juices from other stores in NYC and they all pale in comparison to Tim's juices. All of Tim's juices are fresh and made the morning that you pick them up ( trust me when I say you can taste the difference). My favorite juices are immune action and forever young and green chia diet. The organic remedies are not sweet but are super healthy for you. The immune action has ginger, echinacea, orange and so its sweet too and so amazing for my immune system. As for smoothies, I tried the acai berry because the owner recommended it but I didn't like it. I really love their green energy. I think their smoothies are tastier cuz it has more consistency than the juices and it's sweeter. Their sandwiches are pretty good too- I like their avocado hummus. My favorite is the veggie burger- hands down best veggie burger I've ever had. My only complaint is the fact that the taste of the juices are not consistent..
