Adorable shop offering raw organic juices, smoothies and fruit bowls. So far I've gotten the Superfood Matcha Smoothie with protein powder, as well as "Up Beet" and "The Cure" raw juices. Fresh, well blended and delicious. I always order online and find my items nicely packaged with tamper-proof seals. They also offer local delivery. It pays to order the large size since incremental pricing applies. I usually drink half of my beverage immediately and save the rest for a nice boost later on in the day. Smoothies can be customized with cashew milk, coconut milk or almond milk along with a wide array of flavors and add-ons. Pick your (non)-poison and enjoy! Tips: Purple Flamingo offers two-for-one smoothies in certain flavors (recently the "Berry Burst"), and general discounts during lunch hours, so look out for those. Finally a cute, healthy juicing place in Bellmore! This place is right near my house so decided to pop in one day with my kids. I'm glad I did! Both my kids and I loved it. It was a nice change to take the kids somewhere other than ice cream. The place inside is cute but small. It's more of an in and out place. No space to sit. A little pricey but to be expected for what you are getting. People behind the counter were friendly. A little bit of a wait but nothing to crazy. Popped into purple flamingo and so glad we did. We got the vanilla bean and the blue wave. Completely different flavor profiles but both equally delicious. The vanilla bean tasted like if I were drinking a cinnamon bun and the blue wave was refreshing and aquatic blue blue from the spirulina which provides so many health benefits. I would say prices are comparable to your typical smoothie spot. The place is cute with the flamingo theme and the staff is sooo friendly.
