I had a pedicure three 3 weeks ago. I have ingrown toenails and I mentioned that I needed somebody that knew how to cut and grown toenails. My technician assured me she knew how. Since then, my toe has been infected. I cannot wear shoes. I have gone through a tube of antibiotic cream and a 2-week supply of antibiotic pills from my doctor. I have an appointment to see a podiatrist and I may lose the nail. I just think a nail technician should mention that they're not qualified to do anything but cut and paint nails. When it comes to any type of ingrown toenail or problems, they should tell the customer instead of doing whatever for the 40 bucks. read more

Ive been getting 'fake' (acrylic, bio-gel) nails done for years now and Ive gone here the past 4 or 5 times to get my nails filled and re-painted with shellac! The last visit I made I had the pleasure of meeting Rose who I would have to say is probably the friendliest and most talented when it comes to nail art! I like to keep my nails fun and filled with design and I haven't been able to locate any nail salons in Oshawa that are able to do the marble effect however Rose did and she did an excellent job and made some great colour suggestions! She also informed me that if i ever find anything on Pinterest I'd like to see about getting done, to bring the photo in and she would love to try it out! Best experience yet!! read more

This place does an amazing job. I have been looking all over Oshawa for the best place. This one I think wins. Always try to make an appointment they are very busy most of the time but usually can take you within 30 min to an hour if you just walk in. I get shellac manicure. Their nail polish is also top notch which is hard to find everywhere they have tons of OPI colours and others. read more

Came here while one person was waiting in line and the guy at reception said they were too busy to take me to fix one acrylic nail that was broken. The real issue here was that it was not going to be very profitable for them to take me in today. He told me to go back to the nail salon I went to which is in Washington DC. I told him I was here for a wedding which is today and he didn't want to be flexible at all. When I told him I was going to write a yelp review and wanted the address so I can review the proper location he acted like he didn't know the address to where he worked which is when I grabbed a business card. He said to talk to his boss on the phone which would do nothing for me at this point because he didn't want the bad review. Bad business, don't waste your time here. read more

Only came here a handful of times, and each time has been nothing but a disappointment. I am surprised this place is still in business. The crappy customer service, the poor quality in product/service and the uneducated/trained staff. Are they even certified? I got my nails removed last week, to let them grow because I wanted to give my nails a break from getting fills. This woman ripped 4 of my real nails off to the point you can see the irritation and little blood, then proceeded to FILE these nails as if she didn't just rip them off. Worst experience ever, and giggled as I pulled away and said "let me know if I hurt you" ummmm.. YA CLEARLY IT HURTS YOU CAN SEE THE RED. Ive never had any issue with any other place removing a set. I still had all my real nails intact and could even get a fresh new set put on if I chose to. However this time I have to wait probably a month for them to be back to normal and watch out for any infections because of this untrained fake nail tech! Not to mention, she didn't even complete her job properly as I still am trying to get pieces of solar gel off my real nails. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. It should be closed down. Its disgusting how they treat paying customers. Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone who values their nails and toes and anything else they say they can do. I moved to the area where this nail salon is located a few years ago and I didn't want to drive over 45 mins to go to my regular nail salon where I used to live. I was very pleased with how gentle Lena was with my nails. She was kind and their prices were really good, so I keep going back. It's been 3 years now and I always ask Lena or Anna to do my nails, I trust them with designs, colour selection and I'm never disappointed. I had a great first experience at this salon. The nail technician Tracy was awesome. I called back to make another appointment with her to find out she was no longer there. I went back and my second experience was SO different. The "job" was awful. She cut my nails too short, took of skin (deeper than supposed to), wasn't paying attention to my nails, was talking to another co-worker the whole time, and an overall awful shellac job. I left disliking this place and was disappointed to find out that Tracy had left. I will not go back or recommend this place. read more

First time at this location. Called 2 days in advance for appt, which was for 5 people including two seniors. Had to call back 24 hours in advance to cancel seniors and all good. Turned up on time had to wait 20 min. VERY VERY busy on weekends. First time for my 13 yr old daughter to get gel nails with with french polish. I was very clear with the technician about the expectations. I even agreed to the more expensive process of solar gel and shellac. I was sent to the other end of salon for my services. When I saw my daughter's nails after I was sooooo disappointed! They were thick nails, huge white lines and not cleanly finished at all. When I said something the technitioan argued with me that it was my daughter who said it was ok. I stated again this was her first time and she does not have e anything to compare it to. That I was very clear what was wanted. By this time I was pissed, was told I could wait and she could make lines thinner. No way was I going to stick around for however long for someone who argues with me. Even my nails were not finished completely with no colour on the tips. Terrible customer service. Terrible rushing people through on a weekend. Will NEVER go back and will never recommend anyone to go there, especially on a weekend. I was at Oshawa location ( Harmony & Taunton) on June 27th with my mom and 2 yr old son. Girl who did pedicure for my mom done an excellent job. She took the time to scrub my mom's feet. I usually take care of my feet but this month I didn't have time as I was busy planning for wedding so I asked the girl who was doing my pedicure to scrap my feet too but she said I didn't need it so I used my nails and showed her I have dead skin but she wasn't interested in helping me at all. She rushed me and by the time when went to a table to do manicure I showed her that white gaps were showing on my feet and that she didn't put the polish to cover my toe properly and she fixed it. I was sitting with my fingers and toe nails under the light/fan to dry faster and I started noticing white dust under the nail polish (she didn't clean my nails properly before putting the nail polish) so I wanted to show her that but she was nowhere to be found as she was busy talking on her cell phone so I showed it to someone else who works there and she yelled out to her in their language ( I think Tagalog) . My mom was only allowed to dry her fingers for less than 5 mins and someone made her get up so their client can sit there ( no timing system so staff randomly tell clients to move without making sure if the nails are dry or not). No one wanted to fix my finger and I was really upset and I told them I willy only pay for pedicure and I said I want to speak to a supervisor and I was told there was no supervisor on site and they started yelling at my 2 yr old son as he was running around. I couldn't stand there anymore so I paid and left. I paid $101 for both of us for a service that was worth nothing. read more

I visited this salon within the span of a couple of months and both visits were poorly handled. The first time I came and the workers were sitting in the pedicure chairs doing nothing. I was told "they didn't have time" and wasn't even given the option of booking an appointment for another day which would seem like the natural thing to do. I came back again after a few months and the same thing happened again. I will not be returning and I won't recommend this place to others. read more
