They take cash, and credit cards for purchased and will hold items as needed to allow you to continue to shop. This place also offers for purchase water, pop (soda), Pringles, assortment of candies and snacks to keep you going because when you get here you will be here for a while. The entrance leads to stairs to enter the space but I did note there was a handicap ramp for those in wheelchairs. The main floor was mostly Christmas stuff during our visit, along with incredibly outdated home goods, knick knacks, toys, sporting equipment, etc. We didn't see much that tickled our fancy, so we headed upstairs to see what goodies await. We were surprised to see even more furniture, plus some shoes, dresses, a very small selection of men's and women's clothes, books and kid's clothes. This would be a great spot to find a vintage kitchen table, hutch, dresser, sewing machine or dining room set. Everything seemed pretty aged. It wasn't a thrift shop with much to offer from the last 10-20 years, depending on the category. We realized on floor two that there was nothing here for us, so we skedaddled. I've been going since late 2022/early 2023, back when they were just a vintage shop (with a cute cat) at their old spot further down Division. I first came across them at a market and bought a shirt (still probably my favorite shirt in my collection) but at the time they were pretty under the radar, so I forgot the name. Almost a year later, an old friend complimented that same shirt, which led to me telling the whole story. I was like, "all I remember is they sold spoon rings," and said friend immediately goes, "sounds like Otono on Division." Ofc I went there that weekend, and sure enough, that was them. Been a fan ever since. At this point, a good chunk of my wardrobe is from them. It's been really cool seeing how much they've grown and evolved, especially with the addition of the café. I think it's such a hit and fits their vibe perfectly. The owners are also super personable and the staff are always kind. I added a few pics from past visits, but I definitely recommend checking them out. And if you get lucky, they sometimes have cookies and other treats from Cou Cou Bakehouse when there are leftovers from her pop-ups!

The sheets are folded so wonderful, , I want to bring the 'folder" home to my house, so all my sheets look so cute and put together! Hopefully they will have a class for this one day!! lol They also have toy bags full of kids toys and games, separate bags for toddlers and then bigger kids. Usually the bag has a theme, dinosaurs, trains, dolls, or lots of others, and they are large and full, for less then $4.00. Excellent for quick gifts or presents. Will always go when I am on that side of town! Very helpful and friendly people, always ready to help find you what you are looking for. One of my favorites!

I've seen better at other local thrift stores, albeit perhaps one star. Grand Rapids' thrift scene is very basic. Whether it's that parishioners are donating used goods to their in-church ventures (as I've seen at a local faith based retirement home) or everything is used until it's used up, GR seems to be a hard market for fun thrift shopping. (Note: if you've seen this comment before, it's because I spent the morning hitting all the thrift stores in succession, and all of them were wanting of a good dose of donations, inspiration, and organizational pizzazz.)
