Well, it's been over 7 years now and I'm still a customer here. I've been very happy having my mail and packages come here with no problems at all. I also don't own a printer anymore so whenever I need documents printed it's so easy just to send it to her by email and then she prints it and I pick it up. If something needs to be signed and sent to someone, I sign it there and she scans the document and send it to my email for me to use as needed. It's very convenient. So I have a P.O. box here and I don't get much mail sent to it so I probably come in maybe once or twice a year but every time I do it's always a joy seeing Ivana. It's just a really nice feeling when a business owner remembers you by name and P.O. box number (I can't even remember my own box number without looking for it in my notes app lol) and treats you like a regular, especially when they rarely ever see you. I really enjoy chatting with her when the shop is empty but even when it's super busy she delivers fast and high quality service with a smile. I have had at least 5 fingerprinting experiences in the past 10 years. My last one had a very uncomfortable man who took 20-30 minutes to get me fingerprinted. He did not give instructions and I felt odd to go into the store as a Asian lady. But, here, at Niche Business Cafe, I came here for Livescan finger printing services and I had a wonderful visit. It was organized and orderly. The lady that helped me get fingerprinted was nice. She made it easy for me amd let me know when I came in to wait while she finished up with 2 customers. Then, she took my form, told me the cost, gave me lotion to get better prints, and guided me during the fingerprinting. It was quick. I really like how this place is open on Saturdays. Their shop is located on the same side of the street as Lucky's, Menchies and Starbucks. Once you get in the shopping center, go towards where Lucky's is and make a right to see a smaller shopping area. They are in between the pizza place and the tire place. I'm not sure why it's called a "Cafe" as there are no coffee or drinks for sale here. We had the chance to use their service since my son needed to renew his passport since it was about to expire. We decided to take him here on Saturday morning to get his photo taken and we were acknowledged by the lady and also by the gentleman working there. They were both very nice and accommodating. The process was very quick and the lady that took his photo even showed me how to fix his hair and got my approval on the photo that she took before developing it. They conveniently have a mirror for last minute check. Being a teen, my son has a little bit of acne on his face but it didn't show on the photo which my son really like and he was originally concerned about this. You get charge $1 extra if you pay with a credit card so better to bring cash with you to avoid the additional cost. We were originally going to go to CVS but it turned out the price is a little cheaper here and I liked the quality of how it came out. I thought it was worth it coming here and when it comes time to renew our passport, we know exactly where to go. read more

I needed to get my fingerprints done and found this place via Yelp, which was close by to me. I came around 5:30 in the afternoon and there were 2 customers ahead of me. Ivanna asked me if I needed fingerprinting (maybe it was the form I was holding, lol) and I said yes. She told me to take a seat and she would be with me. Prior to the start of the fingerprinting, Ivanna gave me some lotion. I usually have a hard time with fingerprinting and have actually have to go back for second round (due to lots of handwashing and eczema, my skin is prone to being dry). But I was amazed when I saw my prints were easily reading. After Ivanna was done with the fingerprint scanning, she even offered to fax my prints. Awesome! I like she was able to anticipate my need. While she did fingerprinting, she was able to multitask and address the customers coming in and let them know their estimated wait time. When Ivanna gave me reciept, she also mentioned I could go on the Breeze website and use the ATI number to look up my information! Again, appreciate the anticipation of needs! I learned of this business through a friend when I complained about the service at some of the nationally known franchises. I was immediately impressed with the individual attention shown to each customer, even if it was just to acknowledge their presence with an assurance that they'd be taken care of soon. I was there yesterday, needing to get notarized statements in order to obtain a death certificate. And when I slid my credit card across the counter to pay for the three forms, she slid it right back, saying "my mother taught me a long time, ago, you don't make money off the death of another". I struggled to find a place that will take Canadian Citizenship Photographs around the East Bay area. Niche Business Cafe came to the rescue. Ivana knew exactly what I needed before I even asked her. I just showed her the dimensions of the photo I needed, and she knew right away it's for Canada. She managed to get my 1 yr old to smile in the picture and to actually stay still for his photo. This review is definitely overdue - I have been coming here for years, and for the past year have been dropping off all of my business orders at Niche Business Cafe. I also have a mailbox as well! Additionally I have also used their live scan services as well as their printing & shipping services. Ivana is AMAZING! She always helps me with everything I need in shipping & she's very easy to talk to. If you ever have a question or concern, you can always let her know! Ever since the pandemic, Niche Business Cafe has followed all COVID procedures. I always feel safe when I go in (and I go in about once or twice a week). The door is always open so I never have to touch the door, Ivana handles all of my packages for me once I drop them off so it's a no contact delivery. Plus everyone that works there always wears a mask, there's hand sanitizer on the table, and everyone maintains their distance. Sometimes the store can be busy (because they offer so many great services! And can I just add, I am so happy to see them busy because they really do deserve the business) --if you're in a hurry, you can call her and ask her what time is best to come in & she will happily let you know. When it is busy, everyone is socially distanced and if needed, some may wait outside. There's enough space inside to safely distance from quite a few people. Everyone that works in this store is extremely kind and helpful + they make me feel like I can safely run my small business during COVID. I actually HATE it when I have to go to the post office, because I'm not able to do a no contact drop off (when you got to the post office you have to touch the door, the drop box, and sometimes the plastic shield depending on how big the package is). Unfortunately, coming at 5pm on a Monday meant a long line and about a 45 minute wait, but, she assured those who were there that she would stay beyond the 6 pm close to accommodate everyone.
