My primary care physician sent me for an MRI which did show some nerve impingement but he didn't think it was bad enough to recommend surgery and neither of us wanted to start down the road of constant painkillers. My problem had been going on longer than I realized and I was looking forward to non-ending pain if I did nothing. It was my doctor that suggested a chiropractor might be able to help. I was very impressed by how nice and helpful Lisa was before I even got to the office. Both she and Dr. Cucci are VERY personable and it went a long way to assuaging my anxiety. I went to Edward at a very stressful time in my life, I was experiencing headaches, trouble breathing and sleeping, some chest pains and slight anxiety. In my session, Edward made me feel extremely comfortable, his soothing voice kept me at ease and he was very delicate with each touch and took time to explain every single thing he was doing to my body ensuring I was ok at every step. Oh and the needles didn't hurt! :) When Edward was finished inserting the needles, I laid there for about 30-45 mins and started to feel my body relax, the headache started to dissipate and my breathing became less laborious, the slight chest pain seem less painful.
