Thanks to Yelp reviews, we decided to stop in for a drink and quick pit stop. This shop is amazing! Not only are the drinks and food tasty but the entire shop is just breathtaking. The owner has made this coffee house into a warm atmosphere where the community joins to put puzzles together, have bible study groups, and promote positivity and community awareness. During our visit, we browsed the books and handmade items for sale while our sons played chess. Everyone was so friendly and inviting and they took an interest in making sure our experience was the best. We will absolutely make this a stop any time we're in the area. read more

We just happened upon this incredible treasure on our way to Chattanooga for our 41st anniversary getaway. We were immediately greeted by The owner, Beth with her warm and loving demeanor. We were then introduced to all the staff who were absolutely wonderful with the same warm and loving demeanor! The atmosphere and ambiance is so alive and we didn't want to leave! The coffee is outstanding and fresh baked scones and muffins out of this world!! We enjoyed the Bourbon Banana Bread and Morning Glory muffin. As we were waiting for our order, the owner began introducing us to many patrons. We felt like we were in Beth's home for a sweet fellowship! Quaint little coffee house. Not much to offer food wise, but they have some kind of daily pastry offering and basics like bacon and sausage on a paper plate. The coffee is very good but the atmosphere is what makes this little place so cozy. They don't have many tables; they do have a couple but you have to share one with a puzzle and there might be 1 or more people perpetually working on that puzzle:) if you want to read, there is plenty to choose from, as well as several little nooks in which to sit and chat with a friend or two. Incredibly cozy and full of charm. For sure one of cutest coffee shops We've been to. One could easily sip on coffee and relax or get some work done or simply enjoy conversation or work on a puzzle. I stopped by this morning on my way to work for the first time and got a iced cinnamon roll latte!!!! It was so delicious and this place is so cute!!!! They literally put Starbucks to shame! I graduated from Springville High 10 years ago, and when I left, I LEFT. I haven't been back to visit the small town since then..... but I had a hair appointment at 10 on Friday and of course I got there too early. I was waiting outside when I heard music coming from next door. I thought, "well if there's music, they must be open," so I went on in. As soon as I walked in I felt like I'd slipped into a movie of the 1940s, or just a really great book. The sweetest old men were sitting at one table putting together a puzzle and talking about their wives. Two children were on a couch playing chess while their parents read books on another couch. Another lady was browsing their retail section smiling at the home decor's witty lines. All of these people had a coffee in their hand and an empty plate next to them. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by a young man who immediately said, "Good morning!!! How are you?" without pushing me to order. He gave me the time I needed to make a decision and I was brought the warmest bacon egg and cheese croissant and a really great cold brew a few minutes later. Nichol's nook has tons of books all over the walls... and I've heard they're all for sale! There's home decor, "stocking stuffers," little pick-me-ups, puzzles, and jewelry. They have coffee, espresso, cold brew, muffins, and croissants. There's games for the kids, a tv, a patio out back, and the sweetest people from the smallest town. This shop is like a time machine! I've never seen anything like it. This wasn't here when I was in high school but I'm sure glad it is now. If you need a place that literally puts your life on pause so you can take a breather, Nichol's Nook is where you need to be. read more

If I could give this precious coffee house 10 stars I would!! I live in Birmingham and was in Springville to meet a friend. I went inside just to "kill time" only to completely fall in love with everything about this place!! Everything from the 1940's music playing, the amazing decor, the affordable items you can purchase, the Southern Pecan coffee and the sweet staff. It was an amazing experience. I have made several trips back taking family members with me so that they can also enjoy it. It is truly a happy place and great for the soul! read more
