The weather was fabulous so we sat outside & it made our day. Look at the pitiful piece my lovely wife left for me.

We had dessert at the soda fountain. Topped off our steak dinner at Logan's . My Rootbeer Float was the best I've ever had. My wife had a peach waffle cone. Obviously it was delicious from the looks the dinky piece my wife gave me. Great service from the young fella working around 3:30.

I don't come here enough! I've eaten here now twice. I had a couple birthday cakes made. One cake was Gluten free and they did an incredible job! I ate wayyy too much! This time we went with my mother in law's Birthday and they had gluten free cake pops for her and they were gooey delicious! Their ice cream Sundays are great toooo! I'm so happy this business has survived so much including the town around them being renovated into the Trussville Entertainment District! Please show your support for this lovely piece of history! Check out their web site for their story. New Yorker gone South!

    Chicken Salad on a croissant

We were late for our final destination so we needed a place where we could get a fast meal. We both decided on a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant served with a bag of chips. The chicken salad was yummy with shredded chicken breast, mayo, grapes, and pecans. My only complaint was that the croissant was cold. On the menu it says a fresh baked croissant. I would have liked it warmed a bit. Great friendly and fast service. Really nice place.

My inaugural visit here was so cool! I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to try TTER. No problem, I'm now a fan for life! My mom and I came here on a Friday late afternoon. The service was beyond friendly which created a warm , welcoming environment. I loved this! We ordered our to go dessert first . Too funny but we did. I had the pecan pie square and my mom had a slice of chocolate cake with mocha icing. Both were very tasty and all of their desserts are made in house. Lots of variety!!! They also have ice cream as well as milkshakes. I had an amazing Reuben! My mom had the Italian. The chef did a fantastic job! The sandwiches came with a pickle spear and a bag of chips. We really enjoyed the food and service. OH and I can't forget how wonderful the strawberry milkshake I had was!! Everything was great!

Lovely little place for lunch. We had sandwiches and soup. Both were great. Finished the meal with a slice of cake and milk. The bakery has many items available and they all looked great.

Grabbed a quick lunch while in Trussville at the Three Earred Rabbit. It's located near the entertainment district, so it offers walking distance if you're out for a fun shopping/eating day. I opted for a French dip sandwich, which was good. There wasn't a ton of meat on the sandwich and that would probably be my only complaint about the food. They offer some half & half combos and a soup of the day. All staff were friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars though because the restaurant seems a little unfinished when it comes to decor. It's almost like you're eating lunch in a storage room - mismatched furniture, stacks of chairs, and not a ton of decor on the walls. It obviously does not impact the taste of the food, just my opinion!

Best. strawberry. cake. ever!!!! I have been on a strawberry cake.... marathon if you will (because I can't stop), and this one tops the charts. Its beautiful! And you can really taste the fresh strawberries in both the icing and the cake.

The service is great and friendly, the food is delicious and the place is a cute little hole in the wall. I had a salad and soup and my colleague had a Ruben sandwich. Everything was delicious and filling. They also have several options in the Begelow tea. The only reason I am giving them 4 out of 5 is that I thought it was a bit overpriced. I spent $22 on a soup, salad and tea. Thank

We sat at the bar and had a Rueben and tomato basil soup and my husband ate the 4 corners sandwich. Delicious! We would eat here again

Overall consistently have been happy with everything I have eaten, but I will say that while still pretty good the burgers are not as good as they were early on. One of the big draws for me has always been the outdoor patio area that is shared with the other businesses that are part of the Trussville Entertainment District (TED). The covering over the area keeps you out of the direct sun but still has a very open air feel. On my most recent visit I got the Feral Smash Burger with Cheddar instead of American Cheese. I ordered the tots for my side because I swore that I had gotten them many times in the past. Looking back at all my photos, clearly I was mistaken. Since I am not a big fan of sweet potato the bartender brought me fries instead to go with my side of Beer Cheese which is well worth the added cost. Depending on when you go, you may have to go inside to order at the bar for the outdoor seating (such as I did today). Other days when the TED is busier and peak times you can order at the outdoor bar. For solo lunch dining I prefer other options in the TED but Ferus is great for groups and outdoor dining. I am sure I will be back especially when my daughter comes to town since she likes to refill her growler with the seasonal sours.

My friend enjoyed a salad with the brisket. It was a good portion size. She was pleased. I had the Brisket Rueben with fries. The brisket was tender and the bread held up nicely to the filling. The homemade onion straws were a little salt forward. I got the white bbq sauce on the side bc I prefer to control the amount of sauce. However there tasted to be another more bitter sauce in the sandwich (that was not in the description) as well. The fries were okay. I like a crispy fry. Definitely worth a visit and there were several other menu options I'd like to give a try.

First, I can appreciate the aesthetics of the restaurant, definitely a family style vibe. I'm not familiar with the area, so the parking was perfect. Step out your car and you're inside the restaurant within a few steps. Food, I ordered the grits and eggs. Not a great presentation but the tastes was ok. My friend ordered a sandwich with fried green tomatoes. She thought that the tomatoes were delicious! The batter on the tomatoes was crispy without being soggy. They were seasoned just right, in her opinion. Overall the food was ok. The service was really good. There seems to be a need for a little more training for the wait staff, which happens at most places these days. The staff were very courteous and professional, just a little confused in taking orders. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. I would go back.

We ordered the 2 for $25 meal which included an appetizer and 2 entrees. The boneless wings were okay. They were fried hard but edible. My entree was the blackened Cajun salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned broccoli. My guy had the 6 oz sirloin with the same sides. I kid you not....not a drop of seasoning was anywhere near my food. Not on the broccoli (which even states in the description that it's seasoned), no garlic in the potatoes, no Cajun nor blackened seasoning on the salmon. To their defense, the salmon was cooked to my liking, and so was the broccoli. But if disappointment was a plate of food....this was it. My guy noticed the same thing. Sigh. For my complimentary birthday dessert (sign up for yours in the reward program/app), I ordered the triple chocolate meltdown. It was just okay...bland as the rest of the food. Even the vanilla ice cream was lacking vanilla flavor. Sigh again. Applebees was the first restaurant I went to in high school with my friends. So it will always be near and dear to my heart. You never forget your first. But this food here, 30 years later, was unremarkable and definitely forgettable. How do you not season the seasoned broccoli?!? I can't make this stuff up!
