Is quote was reasonable; not the lowest and not the highest. His staff was polite, efficient with time and made sure the work area was cleaned up each day, making sure the gate to the back yard was always shut to ensure the safety of our new puppy. In the busiest time of the year, Carlos kept us informed on when they anticipated to start on our project. The project actually started sooner than I had anticipated and I had not selected the house colors! He recommended using Benjamin Moore on Powell and to work with their color consultant. She was amazing. Carlos also went out of his way to show me pictures and to bring color samples by the house to help in the decision making process. Having to travel prior to final color selection was difficult. Carlos was flexible, rearranging the order of painting, to accommodate travel and to ensure that we would be happy with the final color selection. Once the project started he did a thorough walk around identifying rotting regions around windows and doors and personally replaced rotten wood and caulking all holes, cracks,etc. The end product is beautiful. We went with a beautiful, rich, blue with cream trim and black accents that compliment the style of our home. It makes a statement and brings color to our street and Portland:) We would hire Carlos again for any painting project and highly recommend Ocre Painting. Don't dely, check them out!

Alux Painting just completed an exterior repaint of my 15-year-old house, and 12-year-old shop. The…read morework included repair to the vertical trim boards on the southeast and southwest corners of the shop, which had evidence of rot. Of the 3 quotes we obtained, Daniel's was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. Information contained in the quote, and during my discussion when Daniel came out to look at my buildings, about repair to the trim boards was THE deciding factor - we knew that Daniel would do the right things, we did not have that confidence in the other two contractors from whom we obtained quotes. Daniel and his crew were responsive to questions - including the one dumb question that I asked where I realized I was wrong after Daniel's explanation. As the work drew to a close, there were a couple of items that my wife or I found, and they were addressed on the spot. We're very happy with the final result.
