These are the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, but the quality of their work is terrible. They're not able to paint straight lines nor deal with transitions between walls and ceilings and I'm still finding areas where my old paint color is showing through. Most of the missed areas are edges and around light switches and power outlets which is especially disappointing because I removed all of the switch plates prior to painting. There's no excuse for these missed areas. The contract they signed with me said 2 coats of paint but after one coat they said it looked fine and I agreed. That was a mistake on my part. Do not let them quote you 2 coats and then get away with just one.

Jeff worked out a solution with me, to take the doors off-site and sand them all the way down. I appreciated that he didn't charge me full price since it was an unexpected cost. I also had a hiccup with a door that wouldn't close properly after painting. (It was probably a very tight fit before painting). This door also needed some off-site work to shave down the top, so it would close correctly. The team came back on a Saturday morning to bring me the restored closet doors. These little pain points come up with lots projects. You need a company that will take care of things when everything doesn't go perfectly. ESP will make sure everything is taken care off.

He runs the company and does all of the work by himself. Mitch was very thorough when doing the walkthrough and took the time to explain what would be involved. We liked that he planned to backroll the paint after spraying to get better coverage. We also liked that he planned to brush rather than spray several major areas. We felt that he would be conscientious about his work and would conduct business with integrity. When you have painting done, the quality of the work depends a lot on the skill level and conscientiousness of every worker. Unfortunately, you don't have the opportunity to meet all of the workers when you ask for a quote. Typically, you can only talk to the sales person. Our experience with painting projects has been that sometimes the work did not meet quality expectations due to that disconnect. When we learned that Mitch would be doing all the work himself, it resolved a major concern about the quality. We found Mitch to be super accommodating. He kept us updated on all progress and finished the work on schedule. When working with contractors, we like working with small companies where the owner gets personally involved in each job.
