I met Jeff when he was based in Singapore. I've seen his work in two different capacities: as a…read moreteacher, and as an event photographer. My first experience with him was when I took his beginner photography class. When I bought my Canon DSLR, I knew it wouldn't be any good unless I learned how to use it correctly, and when I stumbled across his event posting for casual photography, I figured it would be a great intro. Jeff was very thorough with his explanations of how a camera works, and I was able to learn how to make the right adjustments (ISO, shutter speed, etc) to make my photos even better. Additionally, he gave me a few recommendations for lenses I could buy, based on what my photography interests were. I really liked Jeff's demeanor, so when it came time to hire an event photographer, I knew who to go to! Jeff did 3 events for me, was very timely with the delivery of the photos, and made me look good overall. :) Whether it's southeast Asia or the surrounding NYC area, I know Jeff will continue to shoot quality photos. You'd be lucky to work along side a guy like Jeff!

It is rare to meet people who truly are passionate about what they do and take great pride in their work--her talent is top-notch! We booked a session with Cindy, and she showed up with props (kids toys that are very aesthetic, and bubbles) and was really patient with coaxing our shy toddler out of her shell. We love that she was not trying to force any smiles or poses (which is like our experience with some photo studios), but rather trying to capture genuine expressions of happiness and laughter from our little one. The photos are very real and authentic to the personality of my daughter, so this was a great investment, to be able to document her at this stage in her life. We have worked with other photographers in the past, and their turnaround is usually several weeks. Cindy was able to get our photos to us the very next day, which is very impressive.
