Dr. Constantinou sent me a letter stating he didn't want me and my daughter to return to Westlake…read moreDental (after years of going there) because we were upset at how she was pressured into getting dental sealants on all of her teeth by the dental hygienist. Even though she initially said no, the hygienist working with her cleaned her teeth and had her being questioned by three people about why she couldn't pay $500 asap for dental sealants. The secretary stated that Dr. Constantinou would call us but we never ever received a call or text ( even though I had been a pt there for 6+ years). I have attached the letter he sent to both me and my daughter. I am also posting my response. Please read his attached letter before you read my response Dear Dr. Constantinou, You are right. A Doctor-patient relationship depends on mutual trust, clear, communication, and the ability to work together towards appropriate care. I feel like that this was compromised when your dental team made my daughter feel as if she was being judged just because she did not want to get dental sealants applied to her teeth. Initially , she made the team aware that she did not want the sealants applied. However, even though she told the team no, they kept pressuring her to get them asap. The correct way to help her feel as if she really needed them- even though they were elective, would have been to ask her to do some research about them and think about it. Not make her feel as if all her teeth would rot right away if the sealants weren't applied. This also cost her an additional 500+ dollars for her dental bill that she couldn't really afford. I see now that you could care less about mutual trust. It seems as if you don't care at all. That's why you never called to find out what happened or even called to explain why this was such a good decision for someone who didn't have the money . So if getting rid of us makes you feel better about not following up and keeping her money. Then I don want you to be my dentist anyway.

Dear Dr. Constantinou,…read more I received your letter informing me that your office has decided to terminate our doctor-patient relationship. Ironically, your letter states that such a relationship depends on mutual trust, clear communication, and the ability to work together toward appropriate care. I agree wholeheartedly. However, it was your office's actions, not mine, that compromised that trust. At my appointment, I made it clear from the beginning that I did not want the dental sealants. Rather than respecting my decision, your staff repeatedly pressured me to accept the treatment, using fear-based statements about future cavities in an attempt to convince me otherwise. I was made to feel as though I was making an irresponsible decision simply because I exercised my right to decline an elective treatment. What concerns me most is that I was charged an extra $500 for treatment that I had already expressed I did not want. I also have serious concerns regarding how consent was handled. I was led to believe I was signing paperwork related to an estimate, yet I was later billed for the treatment. At no point was it clearly explained that my signature would authorize the final treatment or charges. A patient's right to informed consent includes the right to refuse treatment without being pressured, intimidated, or misled. Consent obtained after repeated pressure or without clear disclosure of financial responsibility is not meaningful informed consent. Instead of acknowledging these concerns or attempting to resolve them, your office chose to dismiss me as a patient. While you certainly have the right to discontinue the doctor-patient relationship, doing so does not address the serious issues surrounding patient autonomy, informed consent, or the financial circumstances that led to this dispute. Patients should never feel pressured into accepting treatment or believe that their right to refuse care will be disregarded. Respect for patient autonomy is a fundamental part of ethical dental practice. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Elise Tidmore

My teeth were in a bad spot and I knew it was time to think about implants. I made appointments…read morewith 3 different providers and ultimately decided on ClearChoice for my all on 4 procedure. For me it was during my consult with Dr Kessling that I made my decision. I asked why he chose to work for ClearChoice over a private firm and his answer was he wanted to fix as many smiles as he could. Working at ClearChoice gave him the opportunity to do that. The other dental facilities that I went to struggled in answering the questions that i asked. There was no hesitation when I asked a question to the Clearchoice team. Clearchoice are subject matter experts, they do this procedure every day and it's what they are great at. The process at Clearchoice was very easy. The first visit I met with Brian. He was prompt and on time to my appt. He walked me through the different stages and provided information on financing if I needed. I appreciate Brian giving me the pricing upfront on the first appointment. . I met with Dr Kessling, he explained what he could do to help me and answered all my off the wall questions. The next visit was with Wendy, she took measurements and scans of my mouth and teeth. She also explained everything in detail that would happen during the procedure and what after care would be like. Wendy made me feel so comfortable. Dr Kessling joined in and they started designing my new teeth. They asked a lot of questions on what I liked vs disliked and then helped pick a color. At this visit I schedule my appointment for a few weeks out. When I arrived the day or my appointment Janieka got me settled in the recovery room took vitals and gave information to my partner. She then took my back to the operating room, her and Jenny answered any lingering questions I had. Dr. Loparich came in went over everything I should feel during post opp. What I liked the most is she gave best\ worst case scenarios. Example numbness should go away at 48hrs but could last a week. She then did her magic on extracting and placing the implants. I woke up to Dr Kessling and Alina figuring out where the implant posts were and where to place the new teeth. Alina took me to the recovery room. She continuously checked on me through out the recovery process until it was time for her to put in the teeth. Alina has a wonderful bed side manner. She put my new implants in and was so careful to make sure she didn't hurt me in the process. Dr Kessling came in and made sure everything was lined up correctly and that my bite was correct. Shane did an amazing job in crafting my new teeth. They look so good! Better than what I thought they would look like. Thank you Dr Kessling\Dr. Loparich and staff for giving me my smile back! If you are looking to have your smile fixed please please please schedule a meeting with ClearChoice! Everyone who works at this particular facility are passionate about their jobs and want to help as many people as they can.

And he could afford to go just about anywhere he wanted. I had an initial evaluation. They recommend that I first see a dentist before they begin work on me. Everyone was very kind, efficient, and accomodating. They were all anxious to help. They never tried to push me into anything. I'll provide updates when I go back. But for my experience, the negative reviews on here don't resonate with mine. The exact opposite.

On Monday, I called to make an appointment for my daughter's permanent retainer which had broken off. After making the appointment, I received a call back informing me that if the retainer could not be repaired, there was replacement cost of $355 (which is a ridiculous charge given it is a tiny piece wire holding top front two teeth together and glue). Anyway, at the appointment, the tech informed me that the retainer could be fixed at a cost of $185. I was never informed that there would be a cost for repair. The original permanent retainer was installed in September 2024. It barely lasted a year and yet we were charged for repair. The tech also informed us that they rarely install the permanent retainers as they often break. Really? So basically a device is recommended (and was part of the original brace package) but is not guaranteed. Very disappointing experience and definitely has me questioning any future business with this practice that historically has done such great work.
