I was unemployed during Covid 2020 lockdowns, and I could not justify buying a tree when I did not know when the next check was going to arrive. My son did sell trees at the Troop 118 Christmas tree lot to earn his way to summer camp. No one wanted to work during Covid 2020. Masks were mandatory. My son volunteered and volunteered and volunteered. I did my best to keep up with him. I discovered that a twelve-year-old can have a good-strong work ethic. The young women of the troop stepped up and represented during Covid too. Troop 118 is a troop accepting all youth. Troop 118 offers countless opportunities for youth willing to step away from Internet gaming. Our last shift in 2020 was three hours of pure rain. We sold one tree. That is the sale we remember. We were so happy and grateful to service the lone Elk Grove woman supporting Scouts on a rainy day. My son ended up working more than thirty hours within a couple weeks. Every minute scouts were wearing masks. He earned his entire summer camp cost. The Troop 118 family provides opportunities that a single father alone could not possibly match. Elk Grove, you can go to Home Depot and buy your $60 tree. You can find a Scout Christmas tree lot and support the future leaders of America. The freedom of choice is yours. They knitted the tree for travel home for free and offered tree preserver liquid for sale. I just wish they still offered the machine that shakes the needles out of the tree before they knit it... I don't know a ton about peach trees, but I'm not feeling great about the purchase or the explanation I was given. I wasn't expecting to swap out the tree months later, but I wish there was a way to compensate me for the false advertisement. I wouldn't have bought the tree if it wasn't going to do what I was told it would do.

This year they had both dry and sad trees that are not filled out. But we turned lemons into lemonade by searching for the right tree for our household in the size of 10-12 feet. Barely any selections to fork over for that price point. So, we looked for a size smaller 6-8 feet and found the best selection in the price range of $169 - $189, a little pricey but worth it, once it makes your whole house smell like pine when you walk-in. They do have trees that are much less as well. We selected a healthy Douglass Noble Fir that was fresh and beautiful! The workers also strapped the Tree to our roof while we sat inside. Great service! Would highly recommend!

The trees are very beautiful, of course they're not all perfect but I'd say it's a great place to get a tree if you don't want to go to far. We can a little late to shop for a tree but we still found a good one so I was very happy once again. This place offered to trim your tree and add a stand. They also have items such as wreathes, tree skirts, and other decorative items. One last thing they offer military discount to those are are in the military or are Veterans.

The tree guy (did feel bad for him) cut the tree at an angle and began to hammer the tree on for at least 20 minutes, until finally handing the tree over to us and the final result..one crooked tree for a total of $136 and at only 5ft tall mind you..we set out to save a little money this year and did not succeed..we should have listened to our intuition and left the lot when they started talking about this "great" stand that we didn't want to buy...make sure you bring your own stand to Pete's or at least have one..and make sure they cut it evenly...safe to say we won't be returning..I will most likely be through away the hunk of junk they sold me called a stand.. heavy and bulky nowhere to store it later.
