I have been an agriculturalist for the majority of my adult life, and a proud farmer. Finding quality feed at a good value is worth the drive sometimes, and for about a year now I had heard about this Nimmo place... I just had to find out what the hype was about for myself. I am impressed. Not only in the quality of feed offered, but the knowledge of the staff regarding the feed concerning the ratios in the feed. I paid less at Nimmo, and they even offer a small price break for 10 bales. Knowing they will deliver to Wilton is also a plus, living in a small rural town is not always on route for most businesses. I will be back, and arranging weekly delivery. I highly recommend this establishment. Tip #1: take the Twin Cities exit, pass the roundabout and go left onto the frontage road (Stockton Blvd). You will go about 3/4 mi and pass a large industrial building on the right (freeway will be to the left). Nimmo will be the next gravel driveway to the right. Enter and pay inside the door, and then pull your truck through to be loaded. Tip #2: Buy 10+ bales to save $.25 off a bale. Tip #3: If you have cattle it is worth getting on file at ANY feed lot to avoid paying unnecessary taxes. read more

There was only one employee working, which I completely understand. I patiently waited in line for 45 minutes to pay for my hay and get it loaded. I was very disappointed when he had another customer cut in line before me after I paid. Im not sure how Nick Nimmo does business but every customer should be treated equal. I called and left a message explaining the situation but did not get a response back. I do not recommend them. read more

I've been warned by countless people in the cattle industry to avoid this business, but I was in a pinch. If I could rate this business a zero, I would. I had to wait to post this review because the owner of the company used cancellation of my delivery as a threat multiple times since she was unhappy with how her own employees gracefully resolved an issue the prior day, claiming "well if I had been there it would have been resolved differently". As if this is somehow my responsibility. If you're looking for an honest business with good communication and professionalism, stay away. Alex, who I believe is the delivery manager- thank you for your kindness and willingness to work with me to resolve the problem. He is a wonderful example of how to treat customers. To the rest of the Nimmo family- miscommunication between your employees and management is never the customers fault nor responsibility. If you don't like the way a problem was resolved in your absence, you don't call the customer to complain about it and bash your own employees over the phone. That was, by far, the most tactless conversation I've ever had with a business owner. I truly believe the only reason they are still in business is because the demand for hay never dies. I hope their employees are more valued than it appears, because there are a lot of other people looking for loyal workers. read more

very rude and unprofessional i cant believe how rude they were over and over i tried to get hay from them numerous time finally talk to some rude guy and he blew us off completely cause we asked for 14+ stacks of hay. never ever will we try to use him. please take note!!!! read more

Always have what we need and the guys work their butts off! WIll load the hay quickly and how you want it loaded every time. We get premium alfalfa and it's always high quality. Always have a wide selection of quality hay and feed. I don't think I've ever found them to be out of what I came for. The guys are very helpful and great about loading my truck just they way I ask them to.
