There are those that swear by their Chiropractor and there are those who don't even believe in going to a Chiropractor. I have had experience with many chiropractors and I understand both perspectives. I have tried Chiropractors that accomplished absolutely nothing. I have also had the pleasure and relief of finding Chiropractors like Doctor Roit, that become trusted saviors from the pain that can resonate from the back and throughout the body. As with anything; you have your good apples and you have your bad apples. Doctor Roit is one of the best! I was barely able to get out of bed this morning and stand up straight. The pain resonating from what I believed to be the sciatic nerve had me almost completely frozen, locked, and collapsing to the floor. My biggest fear was I was not going to be able to stand and support my own body weight within the next 24 hours because this was not the first time experiencing this before. And I know first hand and could never forget how unbelievably worse and relentless the pain can become. I walked into Dr. Roit's office today having to take baby steps. Once he assessed me he got to work and by the time I left his office; I was standing up straight, taking normal walking strides with pain at a minimum. If you are experiencing any discomfort; go make an appointment with Dr. Roit! It will be the best decision you can make!

I was told not to worry that they do not accept my insurance, because they will accept whatever my insurance does not cover. I now received a bill for $665! It's outrageous! They told me that because I felt better after one treatment and no longer needed their services, I have to pay. Where as if I continued coming for treatment and continued to pay the $20 copay, I would not have had to pay this bill. Outrageous! The only reason I went once is because I did not care for the therapist or the office as a whole. They either accept what my insurance pays or they don't.

***Shirley Tao, who is a Healthcare Recruiter for Apex, exhibited disrespectful, inconsiderate,…read moredeflective, and other unprofessional conduct and behavior, and a lack of transparency regarding pertinent information related to an application I had submitted, for which I have now withdrawn my interest and application for the position previously applied for. *** I applied for an HHA position I found on Indeed that APEX had posted. Not long after I submitted, I received communication from Shirley and spent the end of last week running around to get diagnostic testing redone, etc. At no point did Shirley or the Indeed posting indicate "the facility has been known to be slow on interviews it does take them a few days to review" it wasn't until I withdrew my application via email that this information came to light if this was not bad enough, she had the audacity to tell me in the same email response she states " I did not hear from them an interview confirmation so I did not say anything" makes the entire interaction even worse and reinforces my point about a lack of transparency, consideration, and respect, which reflects very badly on her character and, subsequently, Apex. Sending a quick update, such as "Hey so-and-so" or whatever greeting you choose, followed by "I've submitted all your information to the facility. Once I receive an update regarding an interview date, I will let you know," or something along those lines, shows you respect the applicant and their time. Choosing not to say anything, as she did, and making that admission (which I would have kept to myself) indicates a basic lack of respect for the prospective applicant. There is a stark difference between miscommunication and non-communication, and it is apparent that she does not know the difference. In this case, this was non-communication on her part, but she says, "it was miscommunication," and, more importantly, there was a lack of transparency from the very beginning. She deflected, blaming the facility and/or me for her lack of candor/professionalism, when it was her/Apex responsibility to be transparent, which would have allowed me and other applicants who value their time to make an informed decision, but Shirley prevented that. When a person hides important facts and prevents you from making a smart choice about a job, it is called job scamming, fraud by omission, or deceptive recruitment. That is what Shirley did by preventing me, and potentially other prospective applicants, from making an informed decision. I have chosen to post these interactions as a matter of public interest and to warn others about potential interactions they may have when dealing with Shirley Tao. Some may ask why I gave it 2 stars if the interaction was this bad. The reason for the 2 stars is that A. Mahamed from H.R., whom I spoke to on the phone about this matter, was very pleasant to deal with and showed compassion, understanding, and a legitimate desire to resolve this matter. But I can't stay silent and not make others aware of these interactions with Shirley, because then I am complicit and a hypocrite for discussing issues of transparency and then not being transparent myself.

They sanitize and maintain the individual patient stations and equipment, everyone is masked and they do what they can to ensure they are aren't overbooked so there's not much to worry about with overcrowding - keeping things Covid compliant. I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel, tendinitis in both wrists and forearms and arthritis in the neck. I've been going for about 3-4 months thus far and the episodes of numbness and tingling have become farther and fewer on a daily/weekly basis. I was very fortunate to not need surgery but I have witnessed and talked to other patients who have had various types of surgeries done and the team appears to be familiar with what they have and how to approach their respective care. Overall, if you are in the position of needing the care of an occupational therapist this is a nice place to go.
