Perfect (doesn't bother me). Went to the barbershop. He texted me (again) he wasn't going to be on time. I was fine with that. After waiting about 10 minutes another barber didn't want me to wait (which was very kind and never having been a customer there) he asked another barber to cut my hair. I arrived at 950a. My appt was 10a. This now 1015. So I accepted. He asked what I wanted. I said.. "my back is a number one to a number two, I have a hard part on my left side, I like to be able to wear it on both sides of my face and I like to spike it: please don't CUT it.. I have thick hair.. texturize it.l here is the before and after.

This was the first time I've been in a barbershop in 20 years. I've been shaving my head for the…read morelast twenty years, so there's really been no reason to see a barber. That all changed with this appointment. Set aside anything involving how nice it truly is to have someone take care of you. While he's absolutely amazing at this aspect of his job, where he really shines is the personal touch he provides during the process, which will be a unique experience for each individual. He was able to keep me relaxed while taking a straight razor to my face. That deserves an award in itself. I will absolutely be returning in the near future for another shave and haircut. I've decided that it was such an overwhelmingly positive experience, I will have to start coming on a monthly basis. It is well worth it. If you're looking to get a haircut, and pamper yourself a little, I can recommend no better way to do so than stepping inside this oasis in northeast Minneapolis. Great job, guys!

I now live near Eden Prairie and drive all the way to his shop in Lake Elmo because he is a great barber who gives a great cut. He's able to give a board room professional cut for business leaders, stylish casual adult cuts, and fun spunky cuts for teens and young adults (he cuts my son's hair too). I'm a high expectation customer and he always kills it. I read the one star review, and I'm not sure that guy really wanted a barber-- reads like he really wanted some actors studio hairstylist. I mean-- he brought several photos of previous cuts he had and had instructions down to the fractional inch, um... not sure what THAT person was about but I can attest that Nathan is an awesome barber for men.
