I bought a used vehicle, nice Ford, but it had a ding (rock chip) that the Dealer said had been "repaired." It was fine during the summer, but when it snowed, and I turned on the defroster, the ding spread, and zipped left and right to the edges of the windshield, then the crack started upward! When I called Nick for help, they gave me the price of a new windshield, then asked about my deductible. I made an appointment, and didn't have to wait longer than one hour! I contacted Nick's auto glass to get the windshield replaced on my pick up truck. Much to my surprise he said he had one in stock and could replace it the next day. I asked for an estimate and he stated an exact price. I made an appoint for the next day. When I arrived, the young lady was very nice when she greeted me. I asked for an approximate time frame and they said less than an hour. Around 40 minutes later, my truck was finished and it looked as good as the factory install (minus the chips and cracks). I had a stone chip happen. I called Nick's to try to make an appointment to fix the chip before it went into a full blown crack. No appointment was necessary. Instead I took care of a couple of errands and drove to their location. Literally within an hour of the chip happening I had a full repair done. It doesn't get any better than that. ALSO, A BIG PLUS, especially for me, they are dog friendly. I had three large dogs in my car, as I always do, and the was no negative "vibe" or any concern about them being in the car while the repair was made. Called him out for a quote. Might have caught him on a bad day but he got mad because my dog that is my companion (a 5 pound Pomeranian show dog) wouldn't stop barking at him. She's very protective. He said if I didn't "shut that dog up" he was going to "boot it to the moon". I asked him nicely not to yell at my dog, that she's a show dog and has papers, if it gets upset it's hair will fall out. They cleaned my floor mats, vacuumed my vehicle and even washed the fingerprints and dog nose prints off my rear view mirror.
