Warning! Do. Not. take your car here!!! It's not only filthy and unorganized but they are rip offs. I took my classic 1975 450 SL Mercedes convertible roadster in for a simple tune up. It had been trailered up to me from Florida. Everything was in excellent condition and all original. The red leather seats not a mark on them. Paint was perfect. Original windows. Everything awesome. Ran like a bat out of hell. I called after first week. Excuses. Two weeks later called. He had family problems. Next it was mechanic was sick. Two months I drive there. Roger was gone as usual. I talked to the two mechanics and they sa d they were having trouble ordering a part. What part I asked. More flimsy excuses. But because my so called friend that referred me assured me he was good. I had to fly out on tour overseas and was assured it would be ready to go when I returned in TWO months. Well my tour lasted a month extra but I called from London and the Secretary was very apologetic and trying to explain about this and that. By the way she ended up quitting Roger because of his unethical practices. When I returned it had now been 7 months he had it and it was winter. I went there and it was more excuses only this time Roger started blaming my car or trying to get parts. Let me say again it was in immaculate condition when I took it there. I used it to go to anchorage in summers etc. by now I was really upset. I had to pay him over $2000 cash. I couldn't get the door closed. Somehow the lock got screwed up while there. I tried the other door same thing. Then when I started it it started misfiring. My stereo was unhooked. Why ??? It barely made it home. I trusted him because I had lived in Soldotna since 1980. I owned a successful business and wanted to give to other local businesses. I should have taken it to anchorage. And the friend that referred him was a good friend of mine. Funny thing when I told my friend what was going on and my car had engine parts they took out and put old used replacements. They had used wire and rigged some other part in the engine. It was a mess. He couldn't believe it. That friend now says he had sent others there and they had the same problems. Lies, excuses and very bad mechanics. One thing now is when I go to an auto repair facility I look for cleanliness and organization and a set time on work to be done and an estimate of cost and a list of what will be done. Not only is Rogers shop and office filthy and piles of junk everywhere, he is dirty and unkempt also. I just thought oh well isn't that how mechanics are? Wrong!!! Steer clear of here. WARNING! The reason for two stars is they couldn't keep to the time frame they told me. I let them know I was in a rental car and asked for a good time frame. It took them four extra days after having my car four days to begin with. read more

They had decent customer service. Should have been a simple check over and liquids fillup and they found a couple things wrong. Ended up paying over a thousand dollars and am now having small troubles that should've been fixed. Didn't have these problems before I took it in. Looking for another place to take my auto. Edit: took it to a different mechanic. These guys broke more than they fixed, if they even did fix anything. Not worth the time or effort. Go somewhere else. read more
