I told Nichole that I was used to getting my hair cut with just scissors, no clippers! She stated that she was a barber, not a stylist, could give me look I wanted. Off the ears, longer on top combed to the right, She proceeded to start I knew from the first pass I was in trouble! When she was done My hair was High and Tight, at 68 I looked ready for boot camp. I turned up on a Friday afternoon at 1300 and was surprised that they were able to take me as a walk-in (there were other customers waiting on appointments with specific barbers; I wasn't looking to see a specific barber). The cut I need is pretty simple--the work is in the beard and moustache for me. My cut turned out just fine. Beard and moustache trim worked out really well. Good price for the cut. Definitely will return. Barber was pretty silent during my cut, which is actually just fine by me (I imagine the small talk with clients is pretty excruciating after the first five million times).

For this being my first visit Adeline quickly assessed what she was working with, and then went right to it. She knew what to do with my thick, wavy hair. Adeline maneuvered her clippers with smooth, comfortable, authority, handling the sides of my undercut. She knew how to thin my top mop, going at the under layers so I wouldn't be a fluff ball. She explained her process throughout, and also had her own style that I was fine with, such as a natural line on my neck instead of a blunt one. In our conversation I gathered she has an eye for detail and I noticed that no stray hair escaped her. I walked away quite happy, feeling neat and trim with a good cut. It was my first time going to a barber and Adeline will have my business again. There is plenty of street parking around. Walk-ins are taken but you might need to be prepared to wait. Thankfully there are lots of up to date magazines to peruse or a TV to watch in the mean time though. To be safe in a time crunch I recommend calling ahead to check her availability for the day.
