My kids keep getting older and this year meant redefining our Halloween events during October. A…read morehaunted house was definitely on the list and I wanted to visit Nightmare Forest for a bigger experience. It's a longer drive but also an outdoor event that tends to offer more scenes for a similar ticket cost. We went on a Saturday night and got there around 8:30-9p. The staff told us the crowd picks up after 10p. They helped to safely park cars and it was a quick walk to the ticket sales booth and entrance. Pro Tips: buy tickets online!! There's a small fee but reasonable. We saw people waiting in a long line for tickets, only to turn around and wait in line for the haunted experience. Do the Fast Pass!! You truly pass the bulk of the crowd and go to the front of the line. Even at our time, if we'd stood in the regular line my guess is it would've been an hour or more. We waited 5-10 minutes at the most. Wear comfy clothes, and not your best shows. You're outside, it's dark and full of dust and leaves. No reason to dress to impress. Bring extra dollars. They had refreshments and drinks, plus a few activities like axe throwing, bonfire and side show items for pictures. Like a small circus sideshow. They also sell a bit of branded apparel. The scenes were nicely done, and we walked slow on purpose to appreciate the animatronics. They strategize the scenes well to give the actors opportunities to scare you more than once. Lots of wall turns and lights, plus places to hide. I'd confuse which ones were fake versus real people! I'm so glad we came and made this one of our fall activities. I'd recommend it to others!

It's the same as cornhole rules but the board are step like a mini golf hole. We were doing pretty well some holes were harder than others the only thing there was only 12 holes and we were smushed together to stay by our group and hole we were playing. A couple behind us sped through and we were all in each other way. Some holes overlap with another so, you might get hit by a bag since it's next to the platform you throw at. Definitely needs to be spaced out more or let some groups wait a few minutes so they don't over lap or get in the way of another group. The kids had fun though!

I just picked up my 2021 KRX1000 from them yesterday. There is a problem with the transmission on…read moresome of these units however Kawasaki knows about the issue with them and has issued a fix for them. Also asked them to do the 1000 mile service on it Before I loaded it up to take the 250mi trip down there they said they had been in contact with Kawasaki tech support and the parts were being shipped when we got it down there the story had changed a bit now it was they had to open the transmission and check the tolerance on 2 gears and a spring then order the parts. Ok fine. They assured me several times my machine would not be left out in the elements though. Ok so let's get it fixed. 2 weeks had gone by and I hadn't heard anything so I called at that time i was told the Kawasaki rep had been there all weekend and they were not able to duplicate the problem due to a lack of testing grounds so I sent them a video of it popping out of gear. Their response to it was ok I can clearly hear it popping out of gear and the gears grinding we will definitely be rebuilding your transmission and upgrading those gears. The next time I contacted them they said they had to purchase a new lift for safety purposes The next time it was they wanted me to buy a new tire for them to test it because it had a slow leak like slow enough to keep 12psi for plenty of time to test the machine and longer i told them no I have 4 tires at home and I could ship them one they said no need do do that they had a way around it the next time was back to we don't have a place to test it I got suspicious about what was going on at this point. The next time I spoke with them they claimed to have tested it and it didn't do it after the linkage adjustment but unfortunately the parts to do the gears were on back order from Kawasaki this prompted me to call Kawasaki to check on how long parts would be to get in stock Kawasaki customer care said that was not true they had the parts in stock for this fix and ready to ship at anytime. The funny thing was my unit never even had a log number on it until I called Kawasaki which to me means they had never even talked to tech support on it. Fast forward over 2 months till yesterday when I picked it up because I had lost my patients at this point also worrying wether they were actually storing it inside. When I got there they charged me $201 for a tire I told them I was not going to buy then $306 dollars for a glorified oil change when I got it home I started going over it. I was in tears at my findings is had not seen shelter from the elements in well over 2 months many parts are now faded from the sun the black plastics are now oxidizing from the sun and many rusted parts from the rain my heart had been broken I have taken extreamly great care of this machine it has never sat outside for more than 3 days and that was on a riding trip even then it stayed parked in the shade when we were not out riding. So basically I took them a machine that you could look at and tell it was vary well taken care of just on the edge of brand new but what I picked up looks it's never seen a garage. As far as the $306 glorified oil change it was never actually done the oil is black and the filter is months old from 11/17/2021 I know the date because I wrote it on the side of the filter with a sharpie when I did it along with my initials and the machine run time smfh the dishonesty of the whole thing is completely unbelievable with all that being said here are some pictures for your enjoyment it's unfortunate you cannot rate negative stars I also have all the communications with them in text messages showing all of the excuses and run around when they should have just had me come get it if they weren't working on it. I recently attended camp Piomingo and I can most definitely say that I was under whelmed. Between…read morethe horrible food and the boring overprotective atmosphere, my friends and I can say that we were not impressed. While I attended Piomingo I did not eat anything for 2 days and I am the farthest thing from anorexic. The food is so unbearable that when I walked into the mess hall I felt a part of me just die. Everything comes out of a bag and the waffle sticks were so hard that you had to drench it in syrup just to be able to bite into it. Oh yeah, I forgot about the camp tradition hobo stew. One of my favorite camp memories was the taste of pre-overcooked processed hamburger patties mixed with processed cheddar cheese and most likely expired veggies wrapped in tinfoil and then warmed over an open fire. I was debating eating the wild berries I found in the woods so I could get sick go home and enjoy something edible. Also, the water tastes like it came straight out of a dirty shower. I couldn't find a single glass that didn't have smears, crumbs, or dirt in it. I left camp early because after the first day we had sung so many camp cheers that I had lost my voice and I don't even sing loud. The first 24 hours were so boring I wanted to get lost in the woods just so I wouldn't have to hear all the screeching cheers. There were kids that were banging on the lunch tables so hard (while the food was still on the table) and they knocked the pitcher of water off. Then they refilled it and put it back on the table and then knocked it off a second time. You would think they learned their lesson. When I asked if I could leave for obvious reasons they wanted me to wait two more days because they wanted me to give camp a fair chance. During the two days, I endured so many camp cheers I thought I was gonna die. By the time it was Wednesday afternoon I had just about had it. I asked to call my mom and they refused to let me use the phone which I thought was strange. I swear all the counselors are so OCD that if something doesn't go as planned they flip. The entire group of 36 kids were forced to sit while people went one by one on a high ropes course. Most of which would be half way up the ladder and want to go back down. I sat there for 3 hours before I got to go. While I was waiting for my turn I had the pleasure of listening to everyone sing their merry camp cheers. One kid yelled at me and I quote,"I hate you I'm gonna kill you, just kidding bro your my friend." He was breathing heavy and he did this like 15 times during my stay at the infamous Piomingo. I talked to my counselor and he told me that we can't participate in any ("fun") activities instead we went to do arts and crafts. During one of the ceremonies a kid randomly stands up and proceeded to yell HYPE at the top of his lungs like 4 times and sits down. By the way, this kid was 14. So before you send your 14+ year old child to Piomingo I would recommend finding other options because I can guarantee from personal experiences that it won't be a good fit.
