The calssroom training given to us by video and supplemented by Dusty was very thorough and straight-forward. Harness and gorund training from Jim was also very thorough and complete. All the staff was extremely friendly and patient. It is very evident that safety is their number on epriority and having fun is number 2. They are a very proffessional but fun group of people with excellent customer service and interaction with each other and the customers. They feel like friends from the beginning gaining your trust and confidence in a sport that requires a high amount of each be given to the instructors. We will definitely visit them again in the future as wella s recommend them to any of our friends interested in jumping in the future.

For aircraft they have both a C-206 and C-182. Manifest helped us make the first plane load of the day. The drop-zone owner, Jim was friendly and pointed out some of the landmarks on the flight to altitude, which was pretty neat. They take tandem reservations online, have an indoor packing area, and are primarily only open on weekends. Yes, you should go make a skydive if you are in the area.

I'll be reviewing the party space aspect of this establishment. This very unassuming building boasts a pretty massive and awesome play place on the inside that makes it a perfect shot for a child's birthday Party. To rent out the space it costs $200 for 4 hours. They actually give you the keys to lock up and cleanup on your own and do not have a staff member sit by and supervise. Any outside food and drinks Will need to be disposed of and tables wiped down and chairs placed back before locking up your event. As mentioned the play place is massive and a lot of fun. Kids love it but I've crawled up there a time or two myself and had a blast. Lots of obstacles to crawl through and around. It also easy to get lost where your at in the building when you there playing. Which makes it a good thing in that there is only two points of entry/exit on the play place and both are front facing. So that makes it easy to keep a head count on kids and adults alike. The decor in here is very early to mid 90s cartoon art style and kind of a throw back. The lobby area is pretty spacious and they have a counter area for serving food. You can use the fridge behind the counter to keep things cold like drinks during the party. Overall every party we've had or attended here has been a lot of fun. A different and very personal feeling experience as I've never really known another place like this to rent out and not supervise.

Open for more than 50 years this establishment which is just off Preston Highway looks and feels dated on the inside. But that kinda gives you the nostalgic feelings of when skating rinks where supper popular. They do have a cash only snack bar, a small arcade and game room sections and a pro shop to buy your own skates. Admission is $5 a person with a $2 skate rental. The skate rentals are all kind of dates but they will do the trick. Kind of like bowling alleys shoes. They have solid sized skating rink and always have an employee or two skating to check on fallen people and make sure people follow the rules. They do have the traditional roller skating features. Lights tinted down low with neon flashers, popular upbeat music and fun games like the hokey pokey, speed races and a beat little dice game they play where you stop on the closest number when the music stops and they roll the dice. If the dice is on your number then you are eliminated. The winner of the speed races and dice game either get a drink voucher for the concessions or a free skating ticket for the future. So that's fun and cool. My youngest nephew actual won the dice game last time we were there. Over the last year or so I've probably taken my daughters to meet some family friends here about 3-4 times. We always have a great time and my kids love it. It's still fun as an adult I just feel it more the next day than usual. Overall it a fun and entertaining few hours you can spend on a weekend or weekday night that is relatively cheap. It's is an older establishment so o found myself sanitizing me and the kid alike crazy but it's still a cool and nostalgic place with friendly workers.

Like broad run turkey run does offer very cool walking trails and breathtaking views. While they don't have a splash ground or traditional playground like broad run they do have a great area to relax in front of the brown foreman silo. Which is a unique attraction itself as you can climb up there and take in all the views from high above. Like most parks and things to do in the parklands park system you can't really go wrong with whatever you choose to do. Loads of family fun to be had.

Like everything at these parks, the tower is open to the public and free, without any hassles. The water pressure at some of the fountains was a little weak, but overall the presence of free and clean facilities is an asset to anyone in the greater Lousiville area, as so much of Kentucky is either pretty but not open to the public or open but without any manmade improvements.

The playground located in the back corner of the parking lot next to the gymnasium is separated into two different playground by a fence. One that is essentially a toddlers playground ages 2-4 old and then an older kid playground ages 5-12 years old. Both set of playgrounds have sets of swings and a jungle gym type setup with slides. As stated above it is mainly used by the church and the school. The school will use it for students during recess and it's serves a nice space for them to relax and have fun and create memories. The church has had events such as Easter egg hunts and haunted houses there during trunk or treat events. Sometimes the gates are left unlocked when the church is hosting baseball or basketball events. Not sure if it's done on purpose or by accident but you will catch it open sometimes on nicer days. Overall cool little playground that serves its purpose. All 4 of my kids have spent plenty of time on in and have created fun times and memories there.

This park in particular has had some amazing improvements. The water is much clearer now you can actually see the fish.
