The quality of his work was absolutely perfect and he went above and beyond to make my trailer look new. Will definitely be coming back in the future with any other repairs!

WILL NOT STAND ON THEIR WORK. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP! Warning, this review is lengthy but all…read moreinformation is pertinent. We dropped our boat off to Fred's Fiberglass and Trailer repair in June 2021. Progress pictures were sent of work being done. On 17 JUL 2021, received a text saying that the boat was ready. We took the boat home and kept it in the garage until mid-January 2022 when it was ran on the water for the first time since the "repairs". On 22 JANUARY 2022, we noticed a leak in one of the areas that Fred had repaired. Sent Fred photos and videos of the leak that day. Did not hear back from Fred until we reengaged again 23 JANUARY 2022 and Fred said he would talk about it "tomorrow" (24 JAN 2022). Two days later, 26 JAN 22, the boat was dropped back off to Fred and was "ready" again 02 FEB 2022. Fast forward one month later 19 MAR 2022 and we took the boat out and the hole that Fred "repaired" completely blew out in the middle of the lake and took in water up to the seats. Sent Fred pictures and videos immediately of what happened and Fred responded "wow". Later that afternoon once we got towed in and reports completed by game and fish and the coast guard, we followed up with Fred and asked if he looked at the damages to which he responded "Yea". We then asked "what's the plan" to which Fred responded that "It is Saturday afternoon. I'm with my family we will talk Monday". We reached back out to Mr. Fred Monday morning and it was then that he informed us he did not feel that he is responsible for any of the damages or future repairs to our boat. Fred's faulty repair has caused at least $15,000 worth of damages to the hull, batteries, graphs and other equipment. We gave Fred a chance to make it right and asked him for the money back that we paid him in the beginning to help us cover some of the expenses to get our boat back in a safe, operable condition. Fred advised that we make an insurance claim on our personal boater's insurance to cover a botched job that was produced out of his shop. We are frustrated, disgusted and extremely disappointed but grateful that no one drowned or was severely injured as a result of this faulty repair. Please save yourself, your time and money and take your boat repair issues to a shop that will at least guarantee their work.
