There truly aren't words that I could convey to describe the magic Sarah creates behind the lens, but humor me as I attempt. Living in California, I'm used to overpaying for mediocre everything. This is typically the name of the game. The thought of spending $8,000 for a photographer I wasn't crazy about was keeping me up at night; but unfortunately was our reality. It never occurred to me to reach outside of our overpriced-California-bubble, until a good friend was researching for her own Wedding. At first I thought she was nuts, considering photographers in Hawai'i, Washington, Arizona, Oregon; and initially wrote off her notion. Enter, Sarah Willey. Upon the first "check this photographer out" text, I was hooked. It was a done deal in my head, but still I grappled with the idea of travel costs, distance, unfamiliarity with the area, etc. etc. etc. Upon my first contact and phone conversation with Sarah, all those concerns melted away. She was immediately my favorite person. She was down to earth, bubbly, funny, professional, and her price packages were unbeatable. Too good to be true? It wasn't. She was everything and more. And she delivered. This is where my words turn into head nods, shoulder shrugs, teary eyes, and hand claps. In other words, THERE ARE NO WORDS. What she captured on our Wedding day, is purely indescribable magic. I don't know how she did it. Each photo encapsulated the raw emotion we felt in each moment, from our first look, to our vows, to the food, decor, dance floor, everything was perfectly captured in a forever keepsake. Memories in the form of photos. But not just any photos; beautiful, rich, enchanting photos.
