Dionne is a SUPER STAR!!! She is had done our daughter's senior pictures a couple years before. She loved Dionne's style of photography and knew she wanted one day use her for her wedding. Dionne has been such a joy to work with from our first meeting! Not only did my husband and I get married during COVID, we also don't live in Portland where she is based. Planning everything out, including scheduling an engagement session at the beginning of the pandemic, was certainly difficult. I came across Dionne through a recommendation and I must say she doesn't disappoint at all! Dionne is so friendly from the moment you meet her and so full of energy which helps keep everyone high energy. So much fun to work with. We took so many pictures and got so many good shots in our wedding album. She does such a variety with her photos too which I loved. Photographs and an album were easily one of the most important aspects of planning the wedding for me. I contacted probably 30 or so vendors and after meeting Dionne I was sold. She's fun and charismatic and her work is so beautiful. When we went to have our engagement photos done I was excited but a little apprehensive. Neither my husband or feel photogenic but we ended up having so much fun after 10 mins or so the awkwardness of the situation for us wore off. Dionne is truly as good as it gets! Working with someone who is a master of their craft doesn't happen often. Her husband was our DJ and their vibe is totally in tune with ours! Being in front of a camera is daunting for us, but she made it so fun and the love I see in the photos makes me so incredibly happy! I had a few of my other engaged friends ask who took our engagement photos because they were THAT GOOD! In the peak of wedding season, she still has the professionalism in communicating with you and sending you photos in a timely manner. Did I ever think a wedding photographer would run and get me my shoes or ask me if I needed a coat or pull sticks and dirt off of my wedding dress or let me wipe my dirty hands on her jeans so I wouldn't get my dress dirty or remind me to breathe and be in the moment...no I didn't think that's what a photographer would do but that's what Dionne did. Dionne was fantastic to work with! We had a vague-ish idea of eloping in Portland, and knew that we wanted to have some pics around the Gorge and in the city itself.
