Her prices are reasonable and packages include multiple shooters, an engagement shoot, and a wedding guest book made with photos from the engagement shoot. The turn-around to receive our photos was about 2 months. The quality of the photos is fantastic, and I love that she gave us both high quality images and lower-quality watermarked images to use on social media.

Good pictures start from being at ease and Carrie will definitely put you at ease. Even from the first consultation, she makes you feel like you are the only client and the only one that matters. Her pictures are amazing and every now and then she'll say "Let me try something" - those will be the best pictures. One thing I was not expecting was for her to help me draw up a timeline for the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and kind of cobbled it all together myself. Carrie, based on all her experience, advised me on getting hair and makeup done earlier (she was right), having the flowers delivered earlier (she was right again - especially since the delivery was running late), and leaving earlier to get to the church. As she said, no bride has ever complained about being too early. I wasn't too early at any stage and her timeline actually prevented me from being late and stressed out. The second photographer she came with (Dan) was just as great. After meeting him for the first time on the day of the wedding, I was instantly at ease with him in under 5 mins. I could go on and on but no one will read a super long review. Bottom line - book Carrie. You won't regret it!

3rd Class In for a 3 Month Old Puppy... Wow Watch Out!…read more We started off at Canis, and it was truly awesome. Unfortunately, after a few sessions, the co-owner, Derrick, messaged me through their chat platform to say that our puppy had been making noise in her crate that day. This was a one-off situation -- she'd had some stomach issues in the days prior -- but he warned that if it happened two more times, she would be removed from the program. I understand it's their program and their rules, but his communication style was extremely direct -- almost as if he were speaking to a dog -- harsh and matter-of-fact. He told me that how I receive and perceive his messages is "on me." Talk about customer-oriented! If he ever took a class on people or management, he might learn that there's an old saying: perception is reality. I also had a few billing questions, and since texts weren't resolving the issue, I asked multiple times for him to call me, which he eventually did. From the start of that call, he was defensive and completely closed to any feedback about his communication style. I was honestly shocked at how the conversation unfolded and even asked if he was the owner or manager. Despite all this, I genuinely wanted to continue working with them. In short, they removed us from the program the very next day and promptly refunded our fees. My advice: don't offer him any feedback -- he doesn't take it well. It's a real shame, because the staff at Canis are wonderful, and the facility and programs themselves are truly impressive. We had been raving fans and recommended them to everyone, so this turned out to be a very disappointing experience.

CMDT is the absolute BEST! When looking for trainers and puppy/dog socialization spots my husband…read moreand I did extensive research and interviewed places to ensure we felt comfortable and confident that our pup would be in the best hands. I cannot express how glad we have been with our decision to bring our dog to CMDT. Bee and Derrick are wonderful. They make themselves available (within reason) for any questions or help with training. The classes are informative and have been instrumental in our dog's fantastic training progress. Our pup has always come home happy, healthy, and tired from a day of socialization and training when she goes to puppy daycare, and we love watching the livestream so we can see her having a blast. What I personally appreciate the most about CMDT, beyond the care and compassion of the trainers who undoubtedly love the dogs, is the method of training they provide. No harsh punishment necessary. The dogs learn through basic positive psychology and reward association. We do the homework between classes and have seen our dog become more well mannered, confident, and happy through good training. If she could leave a review I think she would say CMDT is her favorite spot, given how excited she is every time we pull up. Thank you to Bee, Derick, and the other trainers who have treated our sweet girl like their own precious pup!

She was very open about the process, answered all my questions patiently. She gave me a a list of locations that is within driving distance but was open if I wanted a place of my own choosing. I'm glad I chose one of the places she shared, she knew hwere to go, and good places to take the pics. At our appointment, she came on time and was very well-prepared. My dog had such a good time during our session, and I did too. when the photos came, the result was amazing, and selecting them and getting the digital copies was a breeze.

Deciding whether or not it was worth the money, time, effort, etc. Clearly I decided to do it and let me tell you- IT WAS 100% WORTH IT ALL. I didn't have any idea where to go to take photos- so Dog Proof set up an absolute perfect array of places to take her. We went to wide open fields, beautiful lakes, graffiti walls, bridges- it was quiet the adventure. Ruth had a blast! Unlike most photo studios, Dog Proof let Ruth be a dog. They captured her jumping for her tennis ball, digging in the sand, exploring the woods. Every single photo showcased Ruth having the time of her life, enjoying being a dog. Not to mention, Ang is not afraid to get muddy! She got in the dirt to take half of our photos- getting the best of Ruth's angles! It was incredible to see her work!! When the photos came back, we were stunned. These photos will last a lifetime, moments that I could never have captured on my own, that are hanging on our walls forever. I can't thank Dog Proof enough for giving my family such a beautiful gift. If you're on the fence about getting your pups photographed- I suggest you do it! You won't regret it at all if you use Dog Proof. (AND your dog will be happy you chose them too- Ruth left the shoot exhausted with lots of cheese & meat in her belly!)

After taking a few days to process the news that I was about to lose my best friend, I contacted Rachel and asked if we could schedule the photoshoot ASAP because my time with Ozzy was painfully limited. Rachel was beyond understanding and accommodating. She worked with me to get Ozzy's photoshoot scheduled immediately. She also let me bring Ozzy's brother, Pikle, to the photoshoot, as well as my two sisters. I was so incredibly grateful that she agreed to photograph all of us together. She was beyond kind and compassionate throughout the entire journey. Rachel was genuinely interested in learning about Ozzy and Pikle and wanted to get to know them. We chose to do our photoshoot in Central Park, and I was so impressed with all the creative shots Rachel captured! She was extremely patient as Ozzy and Pikle demanded treats, and ensured that we got the right shots. The photoshoot was only supposed to last an hour, but she never once looked at her watch and pressed us on time. If anything, I think we were in the park taking photos for closer to two hours! My favorite moment was after we had wrapped up the photoshoot and were walking out of the park, and we decided to buy Ozzy and Pikle a hotdog. She couldn't resist but whip her camera back out and take additional shots of them devouring their hot dogs, even though the photoshoot had already concluded. I can't thank Rachel enough for the precious memories she helped us capture. That weekend in Central Park ended up being the last weekend Ozzy was himself before we started to decline, and ultimately got his wings a few weeks later. It was the most amazing gift when Rachel let us know that our photographs were ready, and she brought him back to us with her art. She beautifully captured him in all his glory, and captured the most beautiful memories of him frolicking with his brother, Pikle. I will always cherish these memories Rachel gave us, and will particularly cherish the beautiful family shots she was able to capture of us with Ozzy and Pikle. I highly recommend Rachel Eve Photography for any pet photoshoots! She's accommodating, kind, compassionate, and extremely talented! She brilliantly captured our boys in their full glory, and beautifully captured us with them. She helped us create these precious memories and her beautiful art will always remind us of how amazing our boy was. I can't say it enough - thank you Rachel for these memories!!!
