I strolled in at 4 and told the receptionist I had a 4:05 with Miguel she told me he was at the Dothan location and already left the Enterprise location for the day. I said I just got a text confirming my appointment. She started speaking to another one of the barbers there in Spanish about it and he shrugged his shoulders and that was that. You could have as easily texted to cancel as you confirmed I said and save me the 25 minute drive up there. I was mad, so I called the Dothan location and when she answered it sounded like the same girl and I asked is this the Dothan location she said "yes", I said I would like to talk to Miguel I had a 4:05 in Enterprise with him. She said he is in Dothan, I said I just asked you if this was the Dothan location and you said "yes". What a bunch of liars and not even being understanding or try to even make it right.

Best Salon in Dothan! The minute you walk in the door you can see that each stylist takes pride in their appearance and the place they work. They go to classes to keep up on new trends and styles and stay fresh with their skills. My color has always been perfect as well as my cuts. Surprise, yeah ladies my hair is not natural but it looks like it is! I respect the opinion of Candy when it comes to my hair color and cut, I always leave the colors to her. She listens and will discuss what is best for your hair and what will work for you. Bottom line though it's your hair and she will do what you want done. These are caring people who when you go in with a problem that has been done with your hair, they can make it all better and make you feel good about your hair again. My previous stylist had priced herself out of my range and the color was not a natural color. After a few bad experiences I found Nicole Allen Salon who gave me back the hair I love and was less expensive. There is no feeling in the world like walking into a salon and being comfortable because you know when you leave there will be no surprises and your hair will look great! You will not find a salon like this anywhere in the South! Nicole Allen Salon is a gem that rivals the best salons of LA and New York. Candy Roth, the owner, master colorist and head stylist is truly the most talented stylist I've ever met, it is a privelege to sit in her chair. She constantly provides continuined education to her staff and to other stylists in the area. On her own time and dime she flies to New York, Atlanta, Chicago and LA to work with and learn from some of the top stylists in the country. And we, her clients are the beneficiaries of her hard work and skills, her razor cuts are amazing. And for someone with A LOT of gray hair her eye for color and for what you will make you look and feel beautiful is amazing. I trust her completely. The salon is spotless, her health rating is always a 100 and the other stylists are always cheerful and helpful. She has brought LA style to LA (Lower Alabama). This is where I go again and again because it's consistently a great experience. Love that they all continue learning their profession and stay up to date on new techniques. They teach and help each other. Many years ago my hair had been abused and burnt with color by someone who claimed to be an experienced stylist. My hair looked horrible the day I walked into Nicole Allen Salon. Candy assured me my hair would be fine. That was over ten years ago. My hair Is healthy and I've always been proud of the color and cut. One day I may be gray but not till I'm ready. My color is vibrant and full of high and low lights. All are professional and friendly. Just a bunch of girls and guys doing what they have a passion for and having fun. My appointments are relaxing ... Do not go to this salon! I had an apt with Logan and paid $175 for a haircut and to have it dyed ombre. I was there for 5 hours and when I left my hair had uneven bleach blonde streaks and the haircut was horrible! I had strands and patches of hair that were 1 inch longer than the rest of my hair. The next day I went to Great Clips and paid $12 for them to fix what a "high end salon" screwed up. I called the owner, Candy, a week later when I realized the shirt I was wearing that day was stained with bleach from the hair dye. She was very rude on the phone and then told me "I am trying really hard to be nice to you but if you're going to be rude then I am not willing to help you!!" Then she hung up on me. I was not being rude to her but she was very rude and unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON! read more

I had my haircut a month ago I called on the day of my appointment to cancel I left a message no one called me back! Well 32.00 was taken out of my account! I called to get my haircut cut because they already took the money out! Then they told me I had to pay another 32.00 to get my haircut! That's the biggest scam I've ever seen ! I'm blasting them on facebook every where I can because that's not right I would never call and harass anyone but for you to take my money and I ask you can I come get my haircut since you took 32.00 from me you said yes but you have to pay extra 32.00! I've been having Ashley Engram doing my hair for a year and every single time I walk out looking amazing. I have very long thick blonde hair and it's not easy to work with and get my highlights and color just right yet every time Ashley pulls through and I look fantastic. I went in today to get my hair trimmed and ended up getting some color added . My experience there was excellent the staff makes you feel comfortable and they are very welcoming. My stylist Ashley is great she's an excellent stylist that is fun & vibrant and takes her time & listens to your needs to better serve you . She's also very knowledgeable about hair & products & passionate about her work I was VERY pleased & will return again. This is by far the BEST salon in the area! The first time I went, it was because of another salon that gave me a horrible cut and didn't offer the services I was looking for. Nicole Allen Salon exceeded my expectations. I walked in feeling uncomfortable and I walked out feeling the new found confidence in myself. I haven't found many salons that can do this! I moved here one year ago. I tried a few salons in Alabama before Nicole Allen. This salon is up to the standards I was hoping for. Clean, professional and amazing job. I was in the Salon the same time Leah R. Was in and she isn't telling the whole story. She wanted an expensive correction for little cost. No one was unkind to her. She walked out of the Salon. She was not asked to leave. She then had a loud argument with her mother in the parking lot. Candy's Salon is one of the most professional salons in this area. I have never had a bad hair cut here myself but at times like any barber shop bad haircuts can happen. Every time I have heard about this Chris the owner cut that persons hair for free to fix it. I have been a client here for many years and don't plan on changing any time soon. If you want a real barber experience where real men can get a real mans haircut and shave this is the place for you. No man should have to smell roses and lavender while getting his hair cut or talk about how it's a lovey day. A real barbershop should be be a little rustic, should use an air compressed to blow the hair off you because we are men and we like things that are overkill. They should shave the back of your neck with a straight razor because why not and they should end the cut off with a hot towel on your face/neck. You should feel free to talk about politics or sports or what ever else you want to and yeah my might offend someone and they might offend you but at a barbershop sometimes that is how it is. Some people even go to a barber shop for nothing but the conversations. It used to be if you wanted to know what was going on in town you could just stop by the barbershop to find out. If this seems like the kind of manly experience you want then walk in anytime you feel like it. If the level of manliness here makes you scared or if you need a receptionist to tell you which door to open this ask your wife to book you an appointment with her stylist the next time she books one for herself.

Barbers use shears to cut off thick hair, not scissors, she was doing little cuts all around and not addressing the thickness. I told them the last place did not thin it out enough. That was my main issue and it was ignored. After a few minutes I seen another girl using shears to cut a guy's thick hair. I then said something about the girl not using the shears to cut my THICK hair, instead of being sprayed with water and the she cuts a snippet, not cutting my hair. I told her I don't like my head being soaked, the shears is what you need. She then got the shears and aggressively started shearing my head and messing it up. I had a extremely bad cowlick sticking up on my head. I got extremely upset and left. NO REASON FOR HER TO INTENTIONALLY MESS MY HAIR UP. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.I'm 67 years old and have had plenty of haircuts, I have only run into this way of cutting a couple times and never went back to those.
