I popped in, looking for a particular item. Solid shampoo, and solid conditioner. I wasn't sure if they would have what I needed. But, their amazing customer service helped me find it. One of your cashiers is very rude and should have to take a class in customer service and how to treat customers when they're being nice to you. I went in Yesterday for the first time to get my Brows done. Upon my arrival the greeting with Taylor was warm and friendly. I explained to her how I'm extremely nervous , I'm here visiting from Houston and I only go to one person for my eyebrows. I have very thick brows and I don't just go to anyone because I have had a few mess ups in the past. Instantly she was like "Girl I got you , don't be nervous. Let me just show you lol" She was just extremely warm and bubbly And her energy was awesome and I must say as she said , she SLAYED my eyebrows and she now has a customer within me anytime I'm in the area. I went in to ulta on Saturday evening looking for a couple of things and I was instantly greeted. I don't remember her name, I'm terrible with names, but she showed me a new mascara that I ended up buying and showed me where to find blush that was my color but not so expensive. I then asked her if they carried any lotion that gets rid of the bumps on my skin. She said ulta didn't; but she did tell me where I could go to find that type of lotion. Ulta has a great selection of both high-end and drugstore cosmetics, hair care, and other beauty products. I'm never disappointed by their selection, and the rewards program is awesome! They send out really valuable coupons and tend to have great sales. The salon is wonderful! Savannah, Orlando, and Rhonda all do amazing work! I've been going in Ulta for a little over 2 years and have always had a good experience. The ladies that work there have always been helpful. My makeup is improving due to their help. About 8 weeks ago I decided on a whim to try their hair salon and made an appt with Amanda. My biggee is not to get scalped! Not only is she awesome at trimming my hair perfectly she is great with color! I'm redheaded and it has faded as I've gotten older. Didn't realize how much until she colored my hair. It is awesome. As close to my original color as I can get and is just beautiful. I would recommend Amanda to anyone. She is really great at what she does! I had another person cutting my hair for 30+ years but then I moved closer to Dothan (like 5 mins vs 45) so it made sense to go here. Will continue with her for as long as possible. read more

After allowing another customer the ability to hold up the line (during Christmas holiday) for 10 min to go back and find an item, Andi (the cashier) wouldn't allow my sister to run and get the correct card from me (who was waiting out in the car outside). Once returning in with my sister and explaining the situation they still forced us to the back of the line for the second time. And when it was our turn to pay guess who we got....Andi!! Who at this point had the manager standing beside her as if we were going to cause a scene. And I treated us as if we were trying to work the system or something, while clearly allowing said "rules" to be broken by other customers!! Also upon further investigation Andi's real name (found on the receipt) is Andrea. The fact that she lied about her name shows that she knew she was in the wrong! read more

No complaints about their wide selection and staff. However, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed about how they are always out of certain products. I understand that it happens every now and then, but it is kind of ridiculous when it happens almost every time I go in there. They asked me to straighten my hair before coming in, which I've read is the opposite of what you should do. I just moved to Dothan and was looking for a good store to purchase some cosmetics. I found this store on Google so I decided to stop by and look around for some good foundation. It's very nice inside and there are many nice selections of cosmetics. I was having trouble trying to find a certain foundation that I usually buy but no sales associate ever stopped to help me. No warm greeting or anything. I'm used to great associates like the MAC store that are always helpful. All the associates in the store were doing there own thing and didn't help. They were busy sitting there in the chairs applying their own makeup. If someone stopped me and suggested new products to me I would have definitely bought them. There was no great customer service in this store then what I'm used to. I give this store two stars for lack of customer service. read more

I walked into the hair salon at Ulta after just getting a bad haircut at another salon. As soon as I showed the stylist, Emily, my hair she knew exactly what I was talking about. She fixed my hair right away and gave me helpful suggestions for my next haircut. Everyone at the salon was very nice and helpful. I went to Ulta to buy my makeup. When I was checking out the saleswoman asked me if I would like to receive 2 free issues of In Style Magazine. I asked specifically, "Am I signing up for a subscription or for the purchase of future magazines?" and the saleswoman said "No, you'll just receive 2 free magazines." Well I recently disovered that In Style/ Ulta took $23.88 out of my checking account for a subscription. As a person now living paycheck to paycheck I can't afford to waste money on useless magazines. I called the local Ulta store and started explaining my complaint and I was hung up on. Fourteen minutes later, I finally got in touch with the manager who gave me the number of In Style to call. I waited on hold for a representative with In Style for 30 minutes. They cancelled the subscription and my money was refunded back to my account. I've searched some sites online and apparently I'm not the only one who was suckered into this. It's horrible that companies are taking advantage of people and even more so now that there's an economic struggle going on. That is the last time I will accept anything for "FREE" and that is the last time ULTA will ever see business from me again. read more
