If I could leave 0 stars I would. The office in Valparaiso is horrendous. The staff is always…read moredisorganized and not really friendly either. When we go to in for office appointments we end up waiting anywhere from 1-3 hours only for my special needs son to go back for a 5 minute session with Dr. Tamanji. I don't think she talks to him about anything important other than saying "how are you doing?" .... doesn't engage him or go any deeper than that. Have gone to appointments only to find out it's been canceled but we were never notified. Had an online appointment today, my son waited for 1 1/2 hours and still Dr. Tamanji didn't show up for the virtual appointment. Had my husband call the office and the staff say "oh, she had to cancel, I thought I sent out emails to everyone" WTF??? We've had many instances when Dr. Tamanji has forgotten to call in my sons medications and it has literally taken a week to get his refills because the staff never calls back after you leave multiple voicemails....so here's my special needs son, who is on medication you can't stop cold turkey, but he's acting out and feeling like he's crawling out of his skin, because he goes a week or longer without meds because he's not getting his refills. We are moving on. This whole office has been a joke. He has literally had 5 doctors in a 4 month time span because dr's will just not show up or are fired apparently. No idea for sure, but I'm sick of this crap.

I took my mother to Dr Legaspi as seeking a new pcp. Her other pcp wasn't working out. His…read morephysician assist took her history which was thorough. Then Dr Legaspi asked why we were there and I told him for a new pcp. I had trouble figuring out what was happening as he listened to her lungs but that was it. Never felt abdomen, didn't check her legs for edema though she has a diagnosis of heart failure. We went over her medsThis all felt so weird, this was not a usual history and physical.I am an RN and worked in hospitals 45 years in Chicago, the past 20 have been at Northwestern Medicine. It was awkward and I felt he didn't want us there. My mother is 96 and frail with a walker. He was unprofessional And upset my mother as she could tell he was rude and wanted us out. Dr Legaspi knew my mother's previous pcp and I feel that for some reason he had to side with her? I'm telling you, I felt like I was back in 1968!, not 2025.We left there, and were told to come back in a month , that's never going to happen. So, he did no exam, was unprofessional and acted like a bully. Obviously, this was a HORRIBLE experience. This is all true what my mother and I experienced.
