She wiped my skin (has color on it) with Windex! I feel very lucky to have found Nicole. She is very knowledgeable on color and cutting, which has been really challenging to find in Florida. She did a balayage on me and I love it! She got my hair really light in just 2 sessions starting from a permanent dark brown color and my hair is still soft and hydrated. This was my 1st visit. Unfortunately, the color I was given was not like the pictures I showed her or what I specifically asked her to do. The color she gave me not only washes me out, but it also has a weird orange hue to it and there are some areas that look almost green. I wanted my husband to look at it as well, because I have had several eye surgeries, and I wanted to make sure of the adverse color issues before I contacted Nicole. Unfortunately, when I asked her if she could please have me come back in to fix it, I was told that my hair looked great and if anything needed fixing, it wasn't anything that she did. She also told me that she does not work for free. I believe that darker low lights with some lighter highlights, (just like I had previously), would've improved the appearance significantly, and would have resulted in me being a happy and returning customer. Additionally, I had asked only for highlights and low lights and did NOT want a base color that she added. For a reference, I paid $316 which included a 20% tip plus the $20 off for first time customers. I dislike leaving this kind of review; however, it's accurate and I just hope that it's a learning platform for her. I do believe that graying hair is not her specialty. I'm probably going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to get rid of this awful color and get back to my original blended color. Any reputable salon would've offered to redo the hair or a refund. read more

I researched and found Nicole and Mom has been seeing her every two weeks now for months. My previous stylist, I wasn't getting the cut I wanted; felt that I wasn't being heard. It was time to move on and I found Nicole. I liked the fact that she would ask how you would like your cut, how short and etc. I told her to cut a certain length off and she would ask are you sure, it's a bit short. I thought about it and said ok, not too short. She said its better to take off a little at a time then too much; I appreciated it. After she blew dry and straighten my hair, she asked what I thought. Nicole is so easy to talk to, I was able to ask her to cut the layers a little shorter; she said no problem. Another small detail, she even said tell me anytime the water is too hot (during the hair wash); she caters to you. Talking with her was like shooting the breeze with a cool friend. My hair is naturally wavy and it was getting long and looking blah. After lots of layers were added, my waves came back to life (it's alive!!) and lots of body. I basically wash, air dry and go; if anything I sometimes use leave-in conditioner. The picture of my hair is the next day after. The day of the haircut, Nicole straighten my hair and it was fabulous (forgot to take a picture). My hair felt like Cinderella for the night but midnite struck. Overall, I needed a cut that would be low maintenance and work with my waves, Nicole gave me that. When I wash my hair before bedtime, I wake up to awesome waves and body; definitely due to the cut that Nicole did. I've had other haircuts and didn't get this result. I am super, duper happy. I would definitely come back for another haircut. I usually go get my haircut once a year (yes, lazy) but with Nicole, I might make it twice a year! It was easy to text Nicole and send pictures of what I wanted in advance. I was surprised that Nicole had asked to send pictures for her to see. Other stylist has never asked that, EVER! Wow I don't even know where to begin. I went to Nicole on Monday. Short story is I didn't receive close to what I asked for and what we agreed to before starting service. (I will post pictures of this) I was super nice and understanding as I know sometimes you have an off day or sometimes hair doesn't agree. Nicole apologized and agreed to redo my hair in 2 weeks. She still charged me for the service which I hesitated but decided to be trusting and take her word for it that she was would fix it. Big mistake. Today I asked her what to do for my hair as it is dry. Despite the integrity of my hair being completely destroyed by her over bleaching I was still polite. She proceeded to send me pictures of my hair after she did balayage telling me this was my hair before. This tells me she realized after removing the foils she had completely fried my hair and was attempting to cover herself. She then also said she would not be redoing my hair because I've had nothing but negative things to say. I'm sorry but I've never had a hair stylist react in such a way when being asked what to do for after care. You ask for a service that's what you should get. She acknowledged it wasn't close to what I asked for. And then to promise to redo it, take my money and go back on your word because I ask what to do for dry hair is beyond unethical and unprofessional. This is just a small review on the service and horrible experience I had. I am beside myself, My hair is FRIED. After taking hair vitamins, spending money on treatments, cutting it and getting it to great health it is now ruined. I'm out the money spent because of Nicole's dishonesty and received the absolute worst service Experience of my life. I don't know which part is worse, her taking my money with the promise to redo it and never doing so or trying to lie to me about what my hair looked like before.
