Nicole was so fantastic to work with! We had a very unique situation so you can see the long version below. Here is the short version: - prompt in response time - flexible - professional - kind and encouraging - creative - thorough - good value So here's the long version. I have a dear friend and her and her husband only have maybe weeks left with one of their fur babies. I'm completely helpless in this situation but I thought maybe having a photo session would give them some great lasting memories. I explained the situation to Nicole and she was not only prompt in responding back but she opened up her availability for a sooner time slot in the interest of time. I had so many questions for her including covid-19 precautions and not only was she incredibly thorough in her answers, she also responded to me right away. She was incredibly flexible with payment methods since I live in California and couldn't give her cash or check right then and there. It was nice to see that she accepted Venmo or PayPal - thank you Nicole for being so 2020! Once the session wrapped up, I heard from my friend that Nicole was incredibly sweet and really brought out the best of her pupper's personality. All in all, I'm incredibly satisfied with the work she did. As a bonus, she even included 30 digital images to be cropped/retouched by her when normally that's not included in the package. It was really great to be given that option especially since once their fur baby crosses the rainbow bridge, they may not be ready immediately to have a photo. This way, they will have the files and when they're ready can have some prints made. Thank you so much Nicole for being so on top of it and sensitive to this situation. We had Nicole do our holiday portraits with our 9-month old baby... it was such a fantastic experience. She had the cutest backdrops and settings, lots of indoor and outdoor spots to work with and she made the session so fun! I see I'm her first review so I certainly hope that this helps get the word out there of what an incredible talent Nicole is. I've known Nicole for the last few years as we're both members of the volunteer organization Soroptimist International of San Ramon Valley. I knew she was a long-time photographer and the more I got to know her, the more I learned what a passion she had for it. It's not just a "business" to her, photography is her way of capturing people's hearts and the unique moments that pop up in life. When I got engaged last year, she was the only person I approached about photographing our wedding, and we were so lucky she said yes and was available! We spoke many times before the wedding because she really wanted to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and what was important to us. My daughter was competing in the Ms. California contest and we needed someone who knew how to take a variety of photos. We contacted Nicole and she was very knowledgeable about what we needed. What a wonderful experience! I have never enjoyed a photo session more. Normally when the kids and I are getting our pictures taken, I get a little stressed out, but Nicole put us all at ease. We took a little walk to a scenic location and took individual as well as different combinations of family members. Nicole was light-hearted and made the experience so pleasant and unstressful. I had a wonderful experience working with Nicole. I was starting a new job and was asked to provide a headshot within a couple days. I called Nicole in a frantic and luckily she was able to get me in at her home studio the following day. She spent some time making sure the lighting was correct and I was able to choose from quite a few (30+) pics to determine the 3 that I wanted- which was hard because, for once in my life - I liked them ALL!
