She accused me of not filling out the forms online, when in fact I had filled them out online. She was abrupt, rude and completely out of line. At one point she told me to watch who I was talking to. I would never go back there, and in fact I will let my husband's dentist know that I hope he won't recommend this place again. Dr. Jackson said he was sorry and would speak to Darlene, but he said she "might" need counselling or remediation. I suggested she should not work at the front office of a doctor's office if she can't show some kindness and basic civil discourse with patients.

Was sent home with a minimal amount of pain medication (8 hydrocodone). By Sunday morning I hadn't slept for 24 hours, was in increasingly, unbearable pain and out of meds. I called the on call Dr. (Solomon) Who sounded annoyed and told me that he was unable (read, unwilling) to prescribe more medication without being seen again and that it would have to wait another 24 hours until Monday morning. Ultimately, I ended up in the E.R. for pain management which cost me an additional 500.00. The icing on the cake was when I later received a bill for another 70.00 after paying upfront. I called the office, explained the above and asked for the last bill to be waved and was denied. I wonder if dentists get compensated for referring patients to this office???? *****If you take your chances here, don't take a Friday appointment. If you have complications on the weekend you are screwed!! The on call phone number isn't worth the paper it's printed on.*****

I've had several pull done before this and each dentist had the discretion to stitch the flaps of loose skin together. For my second visit and installing the tooth, I was prescribed amoxicillin which had already been noted that I was allergic to in the first surgery. The amoxicillin had to be swapped out for Clindamycin and along the way the pain med and the mouth rinse dropped off the Costco formulary when I went to pick it up. I requested to have that phoned back in but received push back from the admin Bethany stating that it will be phoned over a few days before the surgery. I work for the military and have an unforgiving schedule and wanted to pick it up on the weekend and expressed as much to the office worker Bethany. This request was made over 8 days ago and now that I am 7 days out and looking to pick it up this weekend. Dr. refused to phone my meds in for an entire week and even now as I am 7 days to the oral surgery and have time on the weekend was still being stone walled. Due to their negligence in ignoring a documented antibiotic allergy, the office was required to submit a correctio order to Costco, and in canceling the first order, they did not bother to ensure that the oral rinse and pain meds were still in the formulary. Bethany the admin, was patronizing to the demands of my schedule and repeatedly told me that "Dr. Ibenez will send it in when he has time. I can't pull him out of surgery or council for this." My needs as a patient absolutely put her off. Apparently, there's no set time slots or delegations in place during the work week for the insignificance of ensuring patients get their meds with some built I padded time. When I spoke over her out of frustration for her response, she threatened she'd hang up on me if I didn't allow her to finish her sentence, while offering no new solves. I'm told that due to the nature of the controlled substance, the day of sending over the prescription is based on the judgment of the doctor, you know when he has time. Am I being assumed a substance abuser? A suspicion pinned on me from them dropping the ball on antibiotics? The first go around they had notified me with a 7 day notice... Bethany should not be in a patient facing capacity until she receives further guidance and is capable of doing her job. Yeah, sure go here, Dr. Ibanez and Bethany's competence is unparalleled.
