The Thrifter Sisters is a must-visit place (and one of my secret places) for Lilly treasure! My most recent score was a hard to find Lilly maxi in a stunning print that was priced like a dream! (I also have a new blazer from here that I bought for a dollar-yes one dollar). The Thrifter Sisters was started by three sisters and they have the best stuff. They have a huge variety of name-brand pieces (think everything from Maurice's and Kohls to Carhartt and Janie and Jack Kids) and it's so fun to pop in and see what they have. They also have a room of children's clothes (this is located where the old Kinder Kloset store was). They also sell new hair bows and a small selection of new kids toys too. Thrifter Sisters is clean and they keep their inventory well organized. I liked that they had a lot of brand new accessories for adults and hair bows for kids. There is plenty of free parking and another gift store next door. There is also a yummy coffee shop nearby and a nearby consignment and crystal store that are both great. My wife didn't believe I was taking her to a kids consignment shop. This is what happens when you buy a garage, turn it into a gym locker room and then throw about a million toys inside. Or at least that's the thought I had when I shuffled around this place. When I say shuffle, I mean it! This place is littered with toys and things all over the place, I spent more time shuffling sideways and stepping over things. I thought that this might of been a freak thing on the Friday I came in, so I returned on Saturday since my wife and I were in the area. It was just as messy early on Saturday than it was the day before. This place is barely organized! Some toys are grouped with other toys, but otherwise clothes are peppered anywhere and everywhere with no rhyme or reason. Scented candles, glade plugins, scented oil, spray air fresher, renuzit, patchouli incense, heck even some car air freshners from the parts store next door I don't care! Please take care of the smell inside the store! It smells like you guys grabbed twenty used sweat socks from the nearby gym, used them to cover the exhaust pipe of a 1977 Chevy Van and then piped that into the store. This is quite possibly the iciest parking lot I've encountered this winter. A little salt would help. I felt like I was in the Super Mario 3 ice level as I slid into the store, juggling the one year old in my arms. Expectant Moms, be wary. Drive by and don't stop! You probably won't even realize you're driving by! I drove by twice before I found it.

I always seem to deal with Jim and he truly is one of the kindest, and giving men I have ever met. They always run various specials and they have a wonderful deal where you buy this box that has all kinds of samples of notions etc, there is also some kind of voucher in the box where you get a free yard of material every month. Along with that special if you buy a machine you then get 20% off for the next I don't know how many years. They have terrific values in their clearance section too. Mother/daughter refused to take down any chandeliers, but brought out a tall step ladder for my 87 year old aunt to use. Wait, it gets worse. No box or wrapping paper for chandelier. No credit cards accepted. The daughter remarked that this is not a transportation company and place the chandelier on your lap and be careful to drive over railroad crossings gently. See you later.
