After having my first daughter 3 years ago (first transfer was successful with Dr. Levine after many months struggles with another clinic), my husband and i were ready to have a second baby. We knew immediately i would need to use our frozen embryo as i cannot ovulate on my own due to PCOS. Similar to my first baby, a healthy baby boy was transferred and he is now 4 months old completing our family. I can't say enough about him, as a doctor. He is confident, thorough, intelligent and treats you like family. While the process is never easy, and there may have been minor bumps in the road, he was always one step ahead of the game with the next steps. He even checked on me while on vacation! I am lucky to have found him as a doctor and friend. I would be remiss to leave out praise for his entire team. His partner, Dr. Talebian treated me as i was one of her patients. His nurses are exceptional; always available to chat, answer questions, and feel comfortable (a special shout out to Julie!). Going through this twice now, i could not recommend another doctor or practice, they are the BEST there is. They have helped all my dreams come true!

"Patients don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" -…read more I highly recommend Dr. Weidenbaum. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable provider with an extensive education from world class institutions, she REALLY shows you that she cares. My appointments with her represent the most human, genuine interaction I have had with a clinician in a long time. She is warm, takes her time to ask you questions and LISTENS To your responses, provides clear, everyday language to explain your conditions to you and the recommended course of care. She does not make unilateral medical decisions on your behalf, but rather engages in patient-centered care where she presents you, the patient with the options, each options associated risks and benefits, acknowledges your own individual preferences, and then asks YOU the patient which treatment option sounds best to you. If we had more doctors like Dr. Weidenbaum, our healthcare system would be a much better, more efficient and less stressful experience for us all. I hope NYU Langone has her training the next generation of providers. Dr. Weidenbaum provides flexibility of appointments- offering virtual visits for consultations and follow up visits to discuss results- and in person appointments when exams and testing are needed. I will also say, this was a "top-down" experience. Dr. Weidenbaum's CNA was very pleasant and professional - and also clearly very well trained. I am not the best patient when it comes to blood draws- not the best veins and vasovagal syndrome that results in fainting (and sometimes vomiting!) when I have my blood drawn. Many phlebotomists struggle with my labs. Dr. Weidenbaum's CNA was incredible. She got a vein and my blood collected in 10 seconds! No slapping my arm, no repositioning the tourniquet and consequently- no fainting! I wish I could go to her for the labs ordered by my other providers! Dr. Weidenbaum's administrative staff- Crystal and Jennifer are equally great. They are incredibly responsive, clear in their communication and easy to work with. I really wish the providers I see regularly at NYU Langone Health were more like Dr. Weidenbaum's team. The only reason I took off 1 star for office and staff- and I don't believe this is Dr. Weidenbaum's staff directly - is that I have unfortunately experienced a great headache of a billing issue subsequent to my visits with Dr. Weidenbaum. This is an issue with NYU Langone Health's Physician Billing Department, which I am confident Dr. Weidenbaum has no authority over. I have had similar issues when I visit other providers at NYU Langone Health. My insurance carrier has sent me EOBs (explanation of benefits) showing full payment for my visits, and. NYU Physician billing is sending me overdue notices saying my bills have not been paid. This is really not a reflection of Dr. Weidenbaum nor her team, but rather of NYU Physician billing department, which is not based in New York. Unfortunately, I do know from experience with NYU that there is always the potential for a billing issue when I go to an NYU provider. Hopefully they can resolve their issues as I would not want others to be deterred from seeing such a wonderful provider as a result of the hospital system's administrative issues.

I finally feel like a person rather than a number. They really care about answering all of my questions and have been a great help through my experience with them so far. I had another fertility consultant elsewhere and I just felt like I was jumping through hoops with no results. At NYU they have been very straight forward and I finally feel less hopeless. I'm so happy I decided to go through with IVF here. Wish me luck .

She literally guided us through getting pregnant and the first stage of our pregnancy, and didn't take any chances - the second a number from the lab tests came off a bit off she was all over it. She also didn't push any unnecessary invasive treatments and made us feel that we're in control of the entire process. Please note I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand and coddle me but there was a distinct impression I got that she wasn't actually interested in any of my concerns or questions. The office was also disorganized and could not follow a simple email thread about a possible plan for next steps After two visits that was enough for us and we did not pursue anything further. For an expensive NYC "boutique" office, I think it should have been a better experience

We were referred to Dr. Daniel Stein by a friend and we could not have been happier with our experience. Dr. Stein and his team showed a great deal of compassion and warmth. It's easy to think that in the field of infertility compassion and warmth should be a given. When you think, however, that this is RMA's everyday it could be easy to lose sight of each family's struggle. Dr. Stein does not lose sight of that struggle, nor does his team. We felt truly cared for even though we were one of hundreds (?) thousands (?) that RMA was treating at the time. In working with Dr. Stein, he explained everything clearly and handled our questions respectfully. Whenever a choice was to be made, Dr. Stein outlined the options and guided us as to which path he thought was best for our case. I can't say enough about how appreciative I am for Dr. Stein's work with us. The rest of the team was wonderful as well. The nurses, physician assistants and counselors were friendly and good-humored, which when you're going through this experience is not something to take for granted. If I could have met the embryologist/s who handled our case, I'd likely give them the biggest hug as I am eternally grateful for the care they gave our baby when she was just a cluster of cells; a cluster of cells that belonged to a nameless, faceless couple and was nonetheless cared for diligently. I think my only hint of disappointment has been with the financial office. While everything else in our journey felt seamless, dealing with the finances felt clunky. I hope that whomever reads this review is inclined to use RMA and benefits from their services.

I froze my eggs in August of 2016 and was very happy with my experience. I was 33 at the time and…read morewhen I was 30 years old, was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and had a lot of hormonal complications with that. The narrative around PCOS for a single woman in her mid-30s was that infertility was highly possible and interventions to conceive were likely. I was single, and pretty ambivalent about having children, and found that I was pretty stressed about the prospect of having to worry about this as I potentially started a new relationship (after all, I didn't intend to be single my entire life!). So I decided to take all my savings and freeze my eggs with Extend Fertility. I am from Austin, TX and did some shopping around in my local area, but didn't find any facility as well-oiled and competent as Extend Fertility (and the price was better than what I was finding around here). So I flew up to NYC for two weeks and did my cycle. I was able to retrieve 30 eggs, 20 of which were viable/mature enough to freeze and the retrieval process was pretty painless (I couldn't laugh or cough without a little pain for the next couple of days) and flew back to Austin, TX with no issues a couple days after the procedure. The medications were expensive of course, so I'm not going to lie, be prepared for that. But overall, I was really happy with my results (turns out having PCOS made me produce a lot of eggs!) In January of 2018, I was diagnosed with some adenomyosis and possibly some endometriosis and I was like "Well at least I have my eggs frozen". Conceiving natural was seeming pretty much 100% out of reach and whatever you do- don't go on the internet when stuff like that gets told to you. According to the internet, I was basically barren and destined to live my life childless and in pain... Because of the procedure, I went off birth control, and wouldn't you know it, it only took one time of not being too careful and I conceived naturally. Fast forward to today, and I am now 6 months pregnant (unintentionally) with my first child and all my eggs sit cozily on ice in a cryobank in Boston. I think freezing my eggs allowed me to relax and not worry so much of my impending infertility. It also allows me to have 33-year-old eggs if I ever have the desire to put myself through another pregnancy (as of right now, no thanks). And I went through the extra steps to go through the screening so if my two best friends need eggs, they are there for them too. I'm happy I froze my eggs and it was well worth the investment, even though I happened to conceive naturally (they say this is NOT uncommon). Extend Fertility is fantastic and I highly recommend. A few articles/videos were done about my experience... EF didn't pay me or anything to do them- I just really believe in what they are doing. Feel free to check them out! http://fortune.com/2016/08/10/egg-freezing-extend-fertility/ https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/aug/20/egg-freezing-less-expensive-extend-fertility-clinic?CMP=oth_b-aplnews_d-1 https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/New-York-City-First-Egg-Freezing-Office-Extend-Fertility-389931642.html

When we were finally seen, Dr. Klein was unapologetic, even though it was obvious we were upset. He came across as distracted, avoided eye contact, and was not personable. When I called the office, I was told to forward everything again because "Dr. Klein is not good with email." For the price and importance of fertility treatment, this level of care and professionalism is unacceptable. Dr. Klein is not listed on any reputable "best doctors" lists, and based on my experience, it's easy to see why. I would strongly suggest seeking care elsewhere.

I should have written this review a long time ago!…read more I saw Katie and Dr. Zheng for over a year - to prepare for IVF, and then all through pregnancy. They are amazing and I recommend them to anyone I hear is looking for a fertility acupuncturist. Leading up to IVF I went twice weekly for acupuncture and herbs, and they provided so much more than that also - nutrition and general health advice (following this advice was very helpful for me), treatment via acupuncture and other holistic methods for any number of non-fertility related issues (sprained ankles, teeth grinding, etc), a peaceful office, and a true interest in the particulars of my situation so that they could give the best treatment possible. Mae who does cupping and the office staff are also all wonderful. Katie and Dr. Zheng are both very scientifically minded and highly trained, and interested in staying up to date on research, learning from their patients, and integrating lots of information about your health to come up with very personalized and effective plans and advice. I felt like my body was very balanced and my general health was improved by the time I started IVF and that was all thanks to them. Going there was also very relaxing - kind of like scheduled mediation. They also recommended herbs for my husband to take for a few months.

I'm totally giving them credit for my pregnancy. I'm a huge fan!!! After coming here for 3 months I became pregnant. My fertility Dr. wouldn't give acupuncture the credit, but I knew it made all the difference. My insurance didn't cover this but I wanted to give one last natural try before I did the fertility drug route, it was tough but I paid out of pocket. I know a lot of women do fertility drugs and acupuncture as well. I went once a week for three months, Katie and Dr. Zheng advised me to drink the Chinese herb tea that their office made, that was an additional fee, but worth it! I'm now 28 weeks and I still see Katie and Dr. Zheng weekly as I have a shortened cervix, so we are strengthening that. I'm still drinking the teas. My OBGYN freaked out that I was going to acupuncture and drinking the teas as they warned on acupuncture "inducing labor" if the acupuncturist didn't know what he or she was doing... Well thats simply NOT the case with Dr. Zheng and crew. They know exactly what they are doing, they are careful, gentle and experienced. I totally trust them! I hear plenty of women having success stories with acupuncture and pregnancy, so this is REAL people!!! Dr. Zheng and crew, in my opinion, have the best approach and years of experience. I leave acupuncture feeling calm and in this incredible zen state. I can feel the warm energy all over my body, its truly amazing. Now this doesn't happen right away, it took a month and a half or so before my body begin to accept the acupuncture, again totally my personal feeling, so I would recommend sticking with it a bit before deciding if its for you. You want to get balanced and get that body ready for a life see these amazing ladies!!!!! Thank you Dr. Zheng and associates!!!!!
