Mr. Electric should be your last choice for an electrician in the Columbia area. I had a bad…read morebreaker and and called to get a quote. They won't give you a quote. Instead they say they will need to come out and will provide you a quote. BUT They can come out same day (this should have been my first red flag). The electrician comes out and I ask for a quote to replace the breaker the electrician proceeds to spend an hour testing random things in the house and claims it is all included in the service. I remind them I just want my breaker changed and I want a quote for that. Nothing else. They say this is all apart of the service, they take ownership of what they touch and they are touching everything so you're covered and continually make it sound like they are doing you a favor. At the end they add all sorts of random things ( like a attic fee) and say but we won't charge you for all this, all you will pay is $487!!!! $487 for what most electricians get done for under $300. If you don't use the quote you get charged for the time they were there doing the "complimentary" assessment of your electrical system. What was complimentary is no longer complimentary and they have all these added fees like the attic fee. Keep in mind I am getting a breaker changed, why they went into the attic I have no clue. So they say pay this crazy amount and get what you called for done or pay an equally obscene inspection fee for something that was repeatedly called "complimentary" and not what was asked for. Work is performed and the cover of the electrical panel is installed incorrectly. ( the breakers were not snug and the cover was covering the breaker for about 2 inches over where it should have been creating additional pressure on the breakers themselves) I called to have this corrected as the cover should be installed as it was prior to service. This leads to the breakers wiggling and not being as it was before service. I call to make an appointment for correcting this issue with the electrician and have it scheduled. The appointment day comes and goes with no one showing up. I call and schedule a second time. This time the original electrician shows up and beats on the electrical box. I kid you not I hear this man banging on the box to get it set right instead of taking off the cover and putting it back as it should be he bangs on it loud enough to hear through the whole house. I'm pretty upset by this as in all my time dealing with electricians hitting it hard multiple times has never happened. He ends up unscrewing the panel and replacing as it should after beating it doesn't work. The breakers are now extremely loose from the pressure bing put on them from the incorrectly installed panel and the banging on the panel. He starts saying that's the manufacturers problem and not his. Even though they were snug before he touched them and no one has touched them since. The whole time he takes no responsibility for banging on the panel or the incorrect reinstallation of the panel cover that are two possibilities as to why these are not performing as they did before Mr. Electrics service. At the beginning the selling point was all about taking ownership of everything they touch, now they aren't taking ownership of the problem they caused and even tried to blame missing the appointment on the dispatcher ( I made the appointment directly with the electrician, the dispatcher says that he called in sick that day). I see the conversation going nowhere and realize I am going to have to hire another electrician to come and fix this issue so I thank the electrician for his time, tell him that we are at an impasse, I do not feel that he is taking ownership of the problems he is causing and ask him to leave before more damage is done. This leads to him telling me I am Unprofessional while he is the one being unprofessional which is par for the course at this point. I kindly repeat my request for him to leave my home and he finally did. I will never recommend this service because of the gaslighting this company does. They use manipulation to get you into paying way more than you should for a simple repair and then gaslight you about the issues they cause because you aren't a professional electrician. Insanely bad service, insanely overpriced, and when you have to hire another electrician to look over their work you pay again. Go with another company or you'll end up paying for the repair and then needing to pay to get the "repairs" fixed. Gaslighting, condescending tones, and fake promises from a service company isn't what you need to complicate your already complicated life. Guess now I know why they were immediately available when the electricians I know to be reputable were a week or two out.

I needed that final bit of polish to my resume, interview skills, and social media pages. Thanks to Endeavor, I ended up getting recruited to my dream job without ever having to apply. Cord and…read morehis band of merry incompetents surreptitiously prey on job seekers who are fearful and void of hope, and if make the wildly unwise decision to engage with them, there is a substantial chance you will get brazenly ripped off. In my experience, they provided negligible value at best. For example, the initial "career expert" with whom I was paired was a high school tract teacher who never had been in business. My mini-schnauzer could have provided better job seeking insight. When I articulated my frustration and dissatisfaction to Cord, he didn't even know which job we were discussing, thereby demonstrating a profound lack of attention and consciousness. However, when it came to him getting paid, suddenly he became a contract attorney spouting legalese and veiled threats that made a stressful situation even worse. Dead net: Cord made it abundantly clear his primary priority was to secure payment he ardently believed he was owned and Endeavor had earned. Any business has that right if/when they provide value. But Cord and Endeavor most certainly did not, which makes then company's premise dangerously delusional, for he and Endeavor certainly didn't earn 20% of the my fee. Moreover, they made ZERO contribution to the position I secured. Rather than discuss how to move forward with positivity, Cord's ardent focus was their flimsy agreement. Had I been in a better spot, I would have hired a 2nd-year law student to combat it. In short, I couldn't be more regretful of the time, effort and nearly $12K I spent with Endeavor. Please learn from my experience and STAY FAR AWAY. Addendum: One might think such a harsh review is sour grapes, which could be accurate if there were only one bad review. But several show a pattern and likely truth. Again, save your time, money and energy and walk away.
