This was the chance for my husband to do some power shopping. Shivering at the door with our dogs, we were immediately invited inside. The staff was extremely nice and helpful here. When they treat our dogs well too, it's almost a 5-star store right there! My husband bought some some shirts, my son found some gloves, and we bought tons of great stuff for my brother and father-in-law for Christmas! It was nice that the staff was so helpful in finding out all the right sizes and even pointed out which items were on sale. I had never shopped at this store before, but I now have a nice store to find wonderful items for family and friends. With the added great service, I am now a huge Merrell fan!

I get so many compliments when I wear Artiste shoes, they're one of a kind and when I first got introduced to them I bought them at a small boutique shoe store in Long beach CA and then later found them online through Amazon. What a delightful surprise to see Solvang Shoe Store carry the line along with Birkies, Ecco, Dansko, etc. Kelly was very patient with me as I tried on pair after pair. Right before that, I watched her yak her mouth with all of her coworkers about a new POP toy she was going to purchase when she was off her shift and then when a new customer would walk up, she would point at another direction and have the other workers help. I believe the prices are reasonable because brand-name shoes are expensive regardless of where they are bought.
