I took my little girl in two years ago and getting her sized for shoes and finding the shoe she wanted left me feeling blah. So we've not been going as much. But my wife told me to buy her Vans, so we went. We were greeted the moment we walked in. The two gentleman were not intrusive but offered to size my daughter up and showed us what selection they had. They weren't pushy at all. They told us if we didn't find the shoe, they could order it in store to have it delivered and we could pick it up another day. After not finding the right shoe they answered questions about the website and invited us back. So I went home and ordered the shoes my daughter wanted... and then I ordered a second pair. The first pair was available the same day. Of course they welcomed us back and helped us out right away. The second pair wasn't in stock but I was able to track the fed ex shipment. I called after they were delivered and they looked for me and had them waiting when I showed up. The cashiers weren't the same ones but just as helpful. I think I had interactions with 4 different employees and every one of them were helpful, cheerful and acted as if they loved their job. I'm glad I went back and found this store is improving.

I was returning a pair after just 6 days (with receipt, the barcode tag and shoebox), because trying the shoes gave me feet pain. He decided it wasn't in its "original" condition even if there was no damage and had only been used ONCE. I think he saw some dust and freaked out #eyeroll ...Yeah, this is how ridiculous this place is! I mean, how was I suppose to know the shoes would hurt me after being in it if I never walked in it?? Did that dude expect me to return them within the same week of it just sitting on a shelf at home?! That's asinine! Luckily tho, I was able to return the item to their Lancaster store, thanks to Scott! So, WSS Corporate, if you're reading this, you did something right by hiring that man! He was welcoming, easy to communicate with and dealt with the matter at hand like a pro! Couldn't have asked for a better service. Some of the stuff included hardly worn plus size steel-boned corsets, TUK Creepers, and a vintage coat. It was two younger women working whom clearly didn't bother even googling my items. They also told me to "come back closer to Halloween" even though those items are quality "everyday" wear for alternative people. If you're going to be accepting resale, it's probably a good idea to educate your buyers about the various styles and brands that exist outside of their own recognition. I've always recommended Uptown Cheapskate to others for buying and selling. Now, I feel alienated as a customer, plus sized woman, and alternative person.

It's not even 11am on a weekday and the line was so long. How much more on the weekends? There were 3 registers open but the line wasn't going fast. It would have been nice for the 2 employees stocking up to have stopped and helped out. But no, they just went on with whatever they were doing. When we got to the register with the receipt that shows a flat-bill hat the sales associate proceeded to tell me that is what the hat was a flat bill that just is "curved up." What? I told her we get all his hats here, and this is not what I ordered. She again wanted to prove she was right. There is a line of people behind us. Why say anything? From the beginning of the interaction we could tell he was having a bad day or something cause customer service was not it. We've been to this boot barn before and have had pleasant experiences but carlos the STORE MANAGER needs an attitude check. We had some help from a very lovely lady who was wearing a leopard print shirt she was very nice. Hopefully he does better.
