A young man named Borys helped me find the perfect gifts for both my adult sons and did it with such grace and patience! I lovvvveeee this store, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's perfect. Being an outlet store has its pros and cons. Okay, when it comes to sneakers, this store is amazing. The have a good selection of shoes and about half of them are always on sale. I just bought my sister a pair of Nike+ Shoes (the ones where you can put that chip underneath the sole and track how much you've ran) for $50, and they're normally $80+. But when it comes to apparel, namely men's and soccer apparel, this store always leaves me wanting more. Since it's an outlet store it doesn't get much handed down from the regular Nike stores in terms of apparel. That being said, I don't think I've ever found my size because everything that gets sent here is either Small or Medium. There was this Manchester United jacket that I wanted soooo bad; they had tons of them left, but they were ALL Small or Medium, no Larges whatsoever. I was so annoyed. This freaking Nike store is crap! The manager is horrible. Came in, never got asked if I needed help, then when I came to return my month old Jordan's that I had worn a total of maybe 5 times. Where to start... The parking is ample and it's location is fairly convenient. I thought the store was well presented and well stocked. While some may think it has "everything Nike", what it really has is everything that Nike is phasing out of it's retail circulation. That being said... The selection was fantastic and the service was incredible. I had faced weeks of searching for the right shoe, in the right size and found exactly what I wanted right there. The price was reasonable. There are great deals to be found at this outlet location. Many "sample" items (usually apparel or footwear) are priced low but remain the high quality expected from the Nike name brand. The word sample just means that Nike did a small production run of the item and didn't like the color or pattern of the material and therefore did not mass produce it. However you can be sure that the items you are purchasing are on par with the Nike items found in many stores throughout the city. This location feels like a factory store - a stark warehouse feel and a bit disorganized. Service is not the strong point for this store either. The employees were not attentive - I wandered around holding clothes for half an hour and no one asked if I need assistance. There was no help in finding other sizes and when I asked if they had a certain item no one seemed to know. Also when I went to pay, one shirt did not have a price on it and it took the staff some time to figure out what to charge me for it. As long as you are an independent shopper and are able to assist yourself this store has good quality items at a reduced cost. read more

The Nike outlet store is great. They have an awesome selection of sneakers and sports clothing. They always have sales and they almost always have what you're looking for. The staff here is awesome and they can help you with anything. Just let them know what you are looking for and they will get you the best they have. This place is a hit or miss... I found a sweater that is just a trial release that it was not sold in stores (sweet I'm the only one who has this). I also found a zip up hoodie that i absolutely love and when I came back to grab 2 more of different colors it was on sale...! I came back recently and there was only one color left and no sale so I was pretty lucky. The ppl working there are not very attentive but most are kids so what do expect. This store has everything Nike. I mean, everything! I used to wear Nike runners all the time when I played basketball and they had always served me well. I decided to check this store out on my hunt for a new pair of running shoes so I can start running outside instead of on a treadmill - spring is almost here! I was blown away by the selection they have. The store is a lot bigger than I expected it to be and it jam packed with Nike as far as the eye can see. The sales people are pretty good. They new what they were talking about when it came to shoes. This was good because I usually buy based on comfort, when I should be looking at a lot of other factors as well - especially for running on pavement. Im constantly on the look out for cheap awesome shoes. I've bought around 20 pairs from the Nike store but, I've walked away findind nothing about 40 times. The selection is fine if you're not picky and just need a new pair of kicks under $100. The Nike Factory Outlet Store is a pretty good place to find sport clothes and shoes in the endless sea of fashion stores at South Edmonton Common. The store is well stocked with a wide range of Nike apparel from athletic gear to the basic t-shirts. The shoes on the other hand is why I usually come here for. Most of them are at a reasonable price, some more discounted than others if you take a closer look. For instance, I bought a pair of skate shoes for $50, $30 below than the suggested price, a good deal and they were a comfortable fit too! The place tends to be busy on weekends and can feel disorganized with everyone trying on their sneaks. Other than that, I will recommend this place if you like Nike products or in need of a new pair of runners. read more

I'm a bit disappointed by the selection compared to online, who ever manages the stock could do a better job of bringing in better selection but most of the time I find an item worth buying. I buy most of my sportswear here, besides shoes. I've found some immaculate sportswear at this Nike store. Despite the fact it's staffed by teenagers and being a busy store, I've never had to wait for a change room or wait inline for more than 5 minutes. The staff are positive and are easy to find if you need help but will never bother or pressure a sale. There is always a sale going on and not just on the ugly stuff they can't get rid of, I've found some good stuff on sale on a regular basis. Went shoe shopping on an early Saturday afternoon. The store was incredibly busy with lots of staff. That being said the service was extremely poor. While looking for running shoes, my husband and I stumbled upon Nike store. What a great selection of sportswear and sneakers this store has! Shortly after we came in, one of the sales associates approached us and never left our side. He asked detailed questions about what type of sneakers for what type of activity we were looking for; he made recommendations, and brought us what seemed like hundreds of boxes with sneakers. Frankly, we needed his help and appreciated it, since the selection made us feel confused and overwhelmed. Despite the fact that the sales associate gave us all of his undivided attention, he didn't push any sales. We ended up purchasing two pairs of running shoes that fit perfectly, and they weren't even the most expensive pairs we tried on. Nike indeed makes great sports footwear: most pairs we tried were extremely comfortable, lightweight, provided great support and most importantly looked sturdy. By far the worst customer service I have experienced at any clothing/shoe store I have been to. As previously mentioned by others, the staff is extremely unprofessional and rude and very unreliable in terms of holding items. The last 2 times I have shopped there and placed an item on hold, the item was "lost" the next day. Not one apology both times and I was treated like an idiot in the whole process. I am convinced that they do not actually put shoes on hold so I suggest that you purchase them right off the bat or just leave them on the shelf. The staff seem to be very immature and appear to have little guidance in terms of what to do in situations such as mine. I will not be going back to this location. read more
