We came to this location during the week and it was not overwhelming. The staff were friendly and helpful as they checked in when needing assistance. The kid's section has a lot of selections which we were satisfied when looking although not many sizes for my son. This location has a terrible SOP method for opening, witness staff before opening not claim any form of how they line manage or who arrives first to go in. I just watched the staffing crew open doors then prop a very small Belt Barrier Stanchion and agreed to like 9/10 worth of guest into the store into the shop. So we're supposed to be just compiled and bunched to wait? What was the point of not letting the reminding occupancy in. Plus people you seen who where clearly standing at the door minutes before opening and never stated that Nike would like for its potential shoppers to stand on the side of its store to be let in. read more

First and foremost, I love Nike and I have been a shoe collector for many years and I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of Nike throughout the years. The reason I am making this complaint is due to a recent interaction I encountered with their MANAGER named Osmon. On the 23rd of December I was shopping at the outlets and stopped by Nike where I purchase several items. One of the items I purchased was the Nike Air Zoom Wildhorse 5 which I will post a picture below. I purchased this shoe in an ADULT size 8. I was very satisfied with the shoe but unfortunately it did not fit me so I went back on the 27th of December which was 4 days after the original purchasing date to get an ADULT 8.5! To my surprise when I exchanged the shoe they were trying to charge me an additional $30 and the cashier helping me out was confused as to why if it was the same exact shoe the only difference was one was a size 8 and the other an 8.5, she then let her manager named Osmon know to try and take off the $30 charge and the manager instantly said NO without looking at the shoes or even coming over to the register. I then let the cashier know there shouldn't be a difference in pricing since the shoes were still on sell and the only difference was the size and she agreed and she was equally confused so then she tried asking her manager again and without even looking at the shoe once again the manager said no because one was MENS and one was women's which made no sense because once again it was the same exact shoe just an adult size difference. As a shoe collector who has purchased hundreds of shoes throughout the years I know that the only price difference is when 1. The shoe is different 2. The size goes up from kids to youth or youth to adult which neither of these was the case. Either way I let it go and paid the $30. On my way out of the store the manager starts sarcastically saying "have a good day" and starts laughing and I respond sarcastically back for him to have a good day as well and he then starts getting aggressive saying "WHAT DID YOU SAY" to that my friend responds "why are you upset you got your extra $30 and we're already out the door drop it" and I went about my day. 20 minutes after that bizarre and scary interaction I called the Nike store to get his name because I'm obviously going to make a complaint because this man was highly aggressive towards me for no reason. When I called the store he answered the phone and I asked for his name and once again he was aggressive and starts yelling saying that they don't give out employee names and that it was illegal and he hung up on me. That is clearly false because 1. They put employee names on receipts and 2. They have name tags. Therefore I called the next day after my purchase and spoke to a different staff member and was able to get his name. I am highly disappointed in the fact that this was in fact a manager and a man of leadership that failed his title. The cashiers handled the situation wonderfully and much better than he did and tried to calm the interaction. This was highly unprofessional and uncalled for and I hope to see him have consequences for his aggressive and uncalled for behavior. Attached you will find the receipt showing that it's the same exact shoe and the size difference from an ADULT 8 to and ADULT 8.5. So not only did I have to pay an extra $30 but I was harassed by a an old grouchy 6 ft. man!!! Don't work retail if you cannot handle customer interactions! I was truly in shock and in disbelief that a grown ass man would treat a weak but sweet little girl like me in such terrible manners!!! It was a scary experience and I will never step foot in this store again. The only way I recommend this store is if you're an MMA fighter or boxer and you're ready to square up with this employee because you're definitely going to want to fight him after you experience his poor customer service. read more

Mehhhh before I was able to walk away with more than expected. Decent pricing, OTHER selection and colors availability forget it. Weekend: too packed and not enough workers. Wanted to inquire about other selections, then said never mind. Walked away with something I really didn't even want but since I was there.... Dropped by here, hoping for some good deals on shoes. Unfortunately, there was no good deals to be found. Fortunately, we decided to check out their clearance racks. This time, we did find some awesome deals!! We paid less than $50 for 5 workout outfits. The original prices would have totaled over $250! That's a terrific savings. I admit that most times we come here, we don't buy anything. Just goes to show you though, that there are times when you can get lucky. As for the customer service, it was excellent. I cannot walk into this store without purchasing 2-3 pairs of shoes. Today's visit was a bit annoying due to the over abundance of customers. But what else did I expect on a Sunday. Won't be doing that again. The store was very well organized and had a large selection of clearance shoes. There is not much discounts on the shoes on the shelves but whatever Nike's are the best!! The store was well staffed and was able to get immediate help. I ended up purchasing three pairs of shoes. Two for me and one for my daughter. Total price $140. The line was very long and wrapped around half the store on a typical Saturday night. When I asked the employee if he could use his portable device to check out, the manager told him no. How is this possibly an outlet store?! why did I find many of the prices to be comparable to what I would find at Sport Chalet or Sports Authority... Except for the fact that they had lower selection on Nike products... This place is weird and service was odd the guy followed me around as though I was going to steal some Nike shoes that came out five seasons ago... I got back on the road instantly en route to San Francisco where I then stopped at Nike town had a great time. This store and the employees deserve way more than 5 stars! After reading the other reviews, I was almost ready not to make the trip there but I am so glad I did. When I arrived, I went right for the shoes on the wall which I thought would offer the best prices. I didn't even look through the aisles until Andres the manager told me that there are great deals. Sure enough, in several cases the aisles had better prices than the wall. I was looking for a cross training shoe and went to San Leandro and Livermore but they didn't have much of a selection. Andres educated me on the different cross training shoes and took the time to explain it to me. I tried on a pair of shoes I really liked but the fit around the ankles were loose so three employees were helping me lace the shoes for a better fit. All I can say is the service was outstanding, the store was very neat and a lot of sizes available. I visited on 4/27/16 (a weekday around 4:30pm) so the store wasn't busy. A few reviews mentioned not getting the help needed. If you are going on a weekend, it will be busier so if you can, go on a weekday and you should have a better experience. I told Andres the manager that Yelp reviews were not great and he said there have been changes made recently. Hopefully you will find a great deals and get the same great service! Some of the reps here are horrible. I sat down while my bf was shopping around. I can hear two reps complaining how a customer tried on several pairs of shoes and didn't buy any. Isn't that what they were hired for? To help customers out? And if you couldn't find a pair you liked.. Who says you have to settle for something? Then a few of the employees were just horse playing around. One guy almost ran into me (I'm still sitting on the bench) and ended up tripping and falling. Customer service was good and the selection was plenty as well, but when it come to payment it was embarrassing. The reason why is because their machine for checks was not working and it made me seem as if I didn't have any money after I finished using a check at Van Heusen. It was an inconvenience for me because I didn't bring any other form of payment. I even called beforehand and they said it was fine for checks to be used. My wife and I love shopping at the Tulare Nike Outlet there is always a good sale on their merchandise. But there is a sour note. Every time we enter the store there is an employee by the name of Melanie (Mel) as her co-workers call her who goes out of her way to follow us around the store. She can be helping another customer and as soon as she spots us in the store she drops everything to see what we are buying. On one occasion we picked out a pair of shoes from the shelf and decided to grab another pair but before we could get back to the aisle we noticed Mel taking the last few pair of shoes that were there and walking away towards the stockroom. We thought we were imagining it at first but this happens every single time we step inside the store and we have been shopping at the outlet for s few years now. If she's not following us she's constantly watching us and oh did I mention my wife and I are black. I'm not trying to play the race card but damm enough is enough.
