Family owned and operated, they are authorized dealer for Baby Lock, Grace and Janome machines along with a wide variety of fabrics, thread, tools and notions making your sewing adventures a dream. Prices are on par with others and we were able to find out of print fabrics we couldn't find elsewhere. The staff was friendly and very helpful but I also loved the feeling as other "regulars" were shopping and you could tell that this was a welcoming shop. Old, obsolete video game systems, DVDs, video game cartridges and discs, equipment repair... and skateboards? It's been so long since I've seen games for sale for the Atari 2600 that I had thought I had the only one left. Yet they have some on hand for sale. And it's staffed with guys who actually know of AND remember the hard corps, 'old school' systems that got us where video games are today. They have prices comparable to GameStop; not that it matters all that much since Cleburne's GameStop has ceased to carry GameBoy games, and will soon stop carrying and trading GameCube games, as well. They carry them for X-boxes, various Playstations, lots of Nintendo systems. Prices for used GameBoys seem to range from $20-60 depending on the rarity of the system wanted. And they take trade-ins on games, systems and movies. I'm definitely going to continue to spread the word about this place in order to keep a good little local 'mom and pop' operation running. :) ------------------------------ (update March 04, 2012) Purchased an old used Game Boy cartridge and a GameCube disc. Game Boy cart needed a little cleaning to get it to work with my GameCube Game Boy Player. Game works great! The GameCube game disc was scratchy and wouldn't play in my GameCube. Upon returning it to the store, the sales associate tossed it into the disc refinishing machine for free. The game works perfectly, now. :) ------------------------------ Games & Movies Traders has moved from next to Whataburger on West Henderson to it's new location next to the Cinema 6 on West Henderson in Cleburne, Texas. I had to go for a…read morespecialty compounded prescription, one they actually mix together there custom for you, the kind you can't get at normal pharmacies. But I had also been trying for literally WEEKS to get another prescription filled at the big chains (they all told me they didn't have it in stock and they could try to order it but corporate could say no and even if they said yes it would be multiple weeks). It was causing me so much stress, and I had low hope after battling this issue for weeks, but I decided last minute to ask Gibson's if they could fill it, and they filled in ten minutes flat. TEN. MINUTES. FLAT, y'all. I won't lie, the place looks a bit shady and it's run down. And they have silly homeopathy snake oil too, and their hours are limited (they close at 6pm). But that's all inconsequential. They greet you warmly, they were super friendly, they were very fast, AND the pharmacist actually counseled me!! You know like how the receipt on your prescriptions from the big chains say "new prescription- counsel patient" but they never, ever, ever do? Plus, they have a nice little selection of natural essential oils and soaps and shampoos, etc. And their prices for over the counter stuff like cold medicines are super low!
