They have some deals throughout the year especially around Christmas and New Years so you don't need to pay full price to get what you want. Sometimes the sales are final sale so read the fine print. Tices Corner also has Banana Republic, Anthropologie, jcrew, black and white, hallmark, bath and body works, Panera and more. Parking can be a bit of a pain but you can usually find something. In a pinch you could park behind the shops at the office complex and walk over.

As I was trying to meander around to see what they offer, they had a yoga class going on in the center of the place - making getting around a bit tricky..... shoes and clothes strewn all over with bodies laying around. This may seem like an odd comment, but the area is very upper-middle class to upper class, where you sometimes get kids working the shops who feel superior to you for no reason other than their parents are rich. At Banana, they're always willing to help you out. Just the people alone would give this location 5 stars. Unfortunately, the place is really small (I know I keep saying it, but it is). I really feel like I can stick my head in the door and see everything they have without actually going in. The lay out is pretty standard for most BRs; nicer attire in the front (read: suits, suit separates, the hot new looks), with an area in the middle for check-out, some shoes and cologne in said middle section, followed by the more casual clothes at the end. It is obvious the women's side is a little bigger, and is not interrupted by the register area which does hinder your shopping experience by making it a hassle to get through. I feel that the clothes selection is very lacking (I can speak for the men not so much the women). I can rarely go in there and find anything I need. I've gone in and seen some very nice jackets, even a sweater or two, but they are always tiny. I can never go in expecting to find anything larger than a Medium. I need a size 38 pant, and you will not find that in stores (unless it is an online return), especially not in little shops like this one. I wish I could give this location the full 5 stars due to the helpful sales personnel, the fantastic out-of-the-way location, and the always classy attire they sell. Unfortunately it is a store, and the inability to have ever actually bought anything from this location stops me from doing so. I can honestly say the only things I have ever been able to purchase at this location are either cologne, perfume, or possibly a pair of glasses. Everything else I have had to head to one of the malls and deal with that mess. I know their space is limited, but I still feel it has to be compared to other similar shops. The fact of the matter is I can't give a clothing store I have never bought any clothes from a 5... not even a 4, no matter how great the sales reps are.

The woman took a look at the one pair I had and said "this is not the timeframe for it." they were sweater boots, not sure why she thinks they are not fall items. The other pair was a pair of Cole haan boots that retail new for $130, I wore maybe once, she told me the price and I questioned that it was really all she thought she could get for them, without saying anything else she looked at me and said "I don't want your items" and closed the boxes. I've never dealt with anyone more rude in my life. Would not recommend shopping here.

I just recently started shopping at this store. Shopping is normally a chore for me- I like to be…read morein and out and I typically stay fairly conservative and basic with my style. I quickly returned after my first visit because it was such a great shopping experience. Their stylist Janet would continue to put together looks for me- things I never normally would have selected on my own. It is slightly pricier than I normally spend on myself but they run decent sales and have a rewards program. The quality is good and the pleasant shopping experience (versus feeling like a chore) makes me eager to return.
