I was picking up a takeout order from a restaurant across the street & decided I would check out what the store had to offer before picking up the food. I was dressed in shorts, t-shirt & flip flops. I didn't realize I would be judged while browsing in a shoe store. I tried on 1 pair that did not fit. Then I tried on a pair of buttery soft suede flats that fit & asked the cost since they were on sale. The saleswoman replied "very expensive". I felt like the scene in Pretty Woman. I was so caught off guard I couldn't reply other than to ask the cost again. I tried on another pair of shoes (suede sneakers) and they were perfect. When I said I would take both pairs, the saleswoman said "you're taking both!" with a surprised gasp. Despite not wanting to give her the over $600 sale, I loved the 2 pairs of shoes & had to have them. That saleswoman was so snobby & judgmental. I love the shoes but am so disappointed by her behavior.
