All new bikes but not working
    Solar B.

Poor and rude Manager's customer service, Barry Jones. I bought three bikes and none work, Barry the "manager" told me no returns at all. I explained that the bikes dont work but he said its the policy. I asked him why wasnt I told this prior from purchase and he said: " I dont know"...I asked him ehat where my options and he just walked away and told the sales rep to help another customer. Wow. If you decide to buy anything here, remember the manager will not work with you and it will be under your own risk.

This Dick's was a super original to the Ridge Hill Complex and still is! Before there were many stores and restaurants here, it was pretty much just the movies, Dick's, and H&M! Glad to see they're sticking it out. Rarely ever busy, it doesn't seem like they are really reeling in the business. There is also a Subway about to be built right next to it, so perhaps the sandwich eaters will want to buy sporting goods afterwards. The employees are very nice and willing to help; the place is enormous and has its very own public restroom. Know that if you have to go and aren't sure what to do next!! That often happens to me. Sports goods galore, there isn't much you can't find here. That is unless you want underwear. They don't have that (cough cough Modells does cough cough). Other than that it's just a Dick's. Not much different than others!!

Great selection, but they should have more staff on the floor helping in the aisles. Sales racks empty quickly so try to get there early.

Still purchase online from time to time with $89/feee shipping but if it doesn't fit easy enough to return in the store. Located off route 59 it can be a little busy getting there but once in the strip there is ample parking and the store is never busy. Perfect for someone like me who likes to browse or when on a mission- get in and out. For those of you were haven't been to a Sierra picture a Marshall's or TJ Maxx but for outdoor active consumers (owned by same parent company). You can literally find everything from shoes to swimwear to ski gear, shorts and tees. The list goes on and on. Lots of name brands and high quality items. Water bottles, socks, skateboards and I recall seeing a kayak at some point. Point is if you are looking for anything to either wear under or over or by itself within the active bracket come here. You'll find accessories along the way. The store is clean, organized and the staff has always been very friendly. In fact since I've been coming here there are a few loyal workers who have been with me since the beginning. It's always nice to see a familiar face. And if you suddenly get hungry or thirsty or feel the need to go shopping when leaving the store you'll find an Aldi, liquor store, Petco, McDonalds, Chilis add more in the strip which is perfect.

Two cashiers at the register, one manager right next to them, line of 12 people... super long wait…read moreand super slow doing everything. What frustrated me was the lack of care (and attention) for how long the line was. The cashiers didn't even notice, or try to ring items up a bit faster. Manager moved even slower so no help there. The woman that rang me up had to switch registers due to a glitch on the computer- no problem. The speed at which she was moving, problem, because it caused the line to get backed up and people were getting impatient. She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.

She wanted green. The salesman/manager showed her a catalog from which she picked the furniture. She also ordered some fabric to cover the ottoman she has at home so it matches the chair and loveseat. The loveseat was fine. It's a nice piece of furniture. The chair was delivered without legs. She got some weird story about the factory putting on the wrong legs. They came back about a week later and struggled to put the legs on the chair. They finally got it set up and left. Lo and behold, my poor mother who's been through two back surgeries for myriad spinal problems sat on the chair and it promptly tipped over. She is very lucky she wasn't hurt. She called Maddy's to complain and they promised to send her some stoppers to put on the legs to keep it from moving That made no sense because the chair wasn't moving like a recliner would move it simply kept falling over. In addition, she never received the fabric she ordered and paid over $200.00 for. Every time she called, or I called we got the same story: "it will be there by the weekend, I promise." This went on for a couple of months. The store manager continually lied to my mother and me to get rid of us. He doesn't seem to understand that if someone gives him money, he is supposed to produce what the customer paid for. My mother paid $4,000.00 upfront for the furniture and fabric. The only piece she bought that is acceptable is the loveseat. The chair is junk and not usable for sitting. She never received the fabric. I am posting a picture of what the deliverymen actually did when they attached the legs. It would be terribly funny if it wasn't for the fact that these folks ripped off an elderly, disabled woman and refuse to give her her money back for the chair and the fabric. We filed a case with small claims court, and, of course, Maddy's postponed the court date. It's rescheduled for the end of April. I want these people to explain to a judge how they justify ripping off their customers and then hiding behind empty promises of deliveries or fixes that never happen. This is just plain thievery. Believe the bad reviews people. If you're smart you will keep a safe distance from Maddy's. They are not an honest or honorable business.
