She had her own room tv with her own ac unit and a hepa air filtration system. Very clean environment. It was as if she was in her own home Unfortunately, due to Covid, we all couldn't visit her. Since she was on hospice, they allowed my mom to be by her side during the time of her passing. They made it really easy for my family and would recommend to anyone ! Even after 3 weeks they accommodated us with everything and was very friendly Thank you heavenly assisted living for making my grandmothers last memories special.

Fortunately, I had experience with assisted living through my parents in Orange County. I knew what to ask about, what to look out for and, most importantly, how the staff operates on a day to day basis. I couldn't have been more satisfied with both what I heard, saw and how my mother-in-law was treated. A first time for my wife's family so it was not going to be easy. Steve took care of so many things, worked seamlessly to attend to every large and small detail. Flexible, listens and remembers every bit of your concerns. Excellent communication day or night. Just before Covid regulations took hold I was able to see the home. The facilities at Heavenly was better than photos show. Super clean, crisp and well laid out. If you ever see a typical assisted living place, you will plainly notice how well Heavenly is set up. Plenty of space, large rooms, great light and ventilation. The place and personnel is a place for a person to recover and thrive. Do I recommend, absolutely. If your task is to call places and figure out a solution for your elderly parent, call Heavenly and ask all your questions - be direct and you'll get honest direct answers to help you navigate through this process.

The rooms are generous in size and wheelchair-friendly, and many have beautiful views of the courtyard and small private patios for mini gardens. There is a restaurant-style dining room serving up award-winning meals--and ample desserts! The activity and living rooms have a cozy, family feel, and there is always something going on in the way of games, fun exercise classes, lectures, movie showings, field trips, and special events. The greatest asset, of course, is the patient and caring staff of the family-owned facility. Community Relations Director Jonathan is warm and welcoming. Health Services Director Laura is professional and generous with her time. Javier the Dining Services Director takes pride in his cuisine. The caregivers are loving and nurturing, and they keep lines of communication open. But perhaps the best indicator of the quality of The Gardens is how happy the residents are. They extol the virtues of the place with no prompting. (One woman said she'd tried five different facilities, and this was the best.) They're eager to welcome new residents into the family--by the third day, lunch-goers were calling my mom by name to sit at their table. As with most assisted living places, there is a sliding scale of services based upon need, and when a transition to a higher level of care is required, Safe Haven offers memory care with a higher caregiver-to-patient ratio. Safe Haven is safe and secure, with its own small garden and dining area. Caregivers encourage residents to spend most of their day in activities with others rather than remaining isolated in their rooms. I'm delighted I found this new home for my mom. She's still in the process of settling in--she's been there just under two weeks--but I can already sense this is a perfect place for her.

The Community Director Jonathan gave us a tour and was treated by the residents like an adored rock star as we walked through the halls - making introductions with residents, explaining the extensive amenities, along with the robust calendar of daily activities for residents to participate in. We moved her in a week later (after visiting other facilities). Within 2 weeks she told me "I'm meeting so many interesting residents. It's like living in a resort, everything is done for you. I love it here!" Last night I got a text from her saying that she attended a mini classical concert in one of the residents rooms (that resident is known for her musical talents). The staff is attentive, responsive and kind. Prayers answered! I am beyond grateful.

It damages the reputation of a place unnecessarily. It is unfortunate because I know their mother was treated very well by Lilit and Art, two of the most loving people and care givers you can find. Further, Yelp this is no way to gauge how good or bad a board and care is. For educational purposes I urge anyone who is looking for a quality assisted living facility to look at the Dapartment of Social Services website https://secure.dss.ca.gov/CareFacilitySearch/ to truely determine for themselves what is good as it provides violation history and complaint history on a particular assisteed living facility. Please don't rely on venom like this to make a decision!

Also, I was unable to get information about my mother with regard to her well being. I live out of state and it is frightening not knowing if she is well. The manager and owner were very rude from the onset about answering questions such as; How much is your facility? Do you have registered nurses, nurses aides or any certified personnel? Is there a doctor/nurse who evaluated her upon arrival? What activities and care do you provide for dementia patients? They refused to answer my questions about their own facility and the services my mother could expect. Their communication with family members is lacking so was the care they provided. When she was picked up to be moved to her new home, we were handed trash bags with her belongings; in them were someone else's clothes. Her shoes, blanket and some of her recently purchased winter wear was missing. I cannot tell you how stressful it is to have a loved one in a facility where no one will communicate but will take your money. I think the most terrible things about this place are their advertisement and services are false. A better choice for dementia care is somewhere else.

We searched many places before deciding to move there. She was living in a large assisted living home for about 5 years and many falls later we decided to look for something small and more attentive.
