You ever have that real special moment where you wish you had beautiful pictures to remember it? Well I did! My fiance proposed to me on our 3 day layover in Long Beach a couple months ago. I was just a little disturbed that the only proof we had was a selfie. Fortunately for us, we made a last minute trip back to take pictures. We didn't know who would be a good photographer. So I did what any level minded person did; I yelped it. Nikki had amazing pictures and great reviews. What really got me sold was she used Dropbox to show the pictures. This worked out perfectly, since we live in Hawaii and were only going to be there for the weekend. I emailed Nikki and asked if she could fit us in and she responded with a definite yes. She was able to take us in short notice! When we met Nikki, she was very positive and was able to work with our quirky personality. If you see the pictures it looks like we are a couple in love...not a bunch of jokesters. If she capture that, she's good! We had a couple of setbacks at the photo site. Apparently, it is a Pokemon gym, so there was tons of people. Nikki was able to work her magic and she made the photos beautiful! If you are wondering about turnaround time, she is very quick. You pick the pictures you want retouched, and she gets back to you in 2 weeks. We honestly had a hard time choosing which pictures to retouch. They were all great! Did I mention she made us look lovey dovey instead of a couple of jokesters?! (yup i did). Overall, Nikki is easy to work with and has great ideas for poses. I love that she takes payment through credit card and PayPal. I rarely carry cash. The photos turned out fantabulous! Thank you so much Nikki for giving us the opportunity to recreate our special day. My only regret is I can't hire her for our wedding because...we live in Hawaii T___T.
Nikki was wonderful in snapping photos of my family especially with young children who never want to stay still. I love her artistry and her photos with her attention to detail! I can be super awkward in front of the camera but you would never know with her beautiful snaps.

Exceptional, amazing, professional, stunning, remarkable, beautiful, unique, spot on, invaluable, and unforgettable! You captured our wedding day so perfectly! We met Nikki by chance, she was selling some of her wedding items. Since we had such similar decor visions for our weddings, I started picking her brain on vendors for our upcoming wedding. Little did I know, she was a photographer! When we met up to buy her wedding items, she brought her portfolio and we were blown away. Her work was stunning! We knew from that meeting, Nikki would be our photographer! Nikki worked with us every step of the way, going above and beyond being a photographer. Nikki worked with me on a meticulous timeline of photos and the day. She had everything written down to the minute, which made it so easy for all our vendors to stick to a schedule. She was like a wedding coordinator! Nikki kept the entire day on schedule and made it stress free for us, without being intrusive. We received so many compliments on Nikki from our guests! Can we talk photos??!! WOW! Our wedding photos are AMAZING!! We are two months out from our wedding and I still can't seem to narrow them down for our gallery wall and wedding album. There are SO many that are incredible, all 563 of them. They are so perfect! Not only are the pictures beautiful keepsakes we will treasure forever, but they are clean and stunning. We got married in a room that is very difficult to shoot, but Nikki nailed it! Nikki also got to know us and it sure showed in her final work product. She captured "us" and our families so well. Prior to our wedding, we hired Nikki to do our engagement photos and college graduation photos for our daughter. Every session was effortless! She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. Her attention to detail is impeccable! Not only has Nikki become a friend over the last year, she will be our forever photographer for our entire family! We are simply blown away with the results! We highly recommend Nikki for any photos you truly want to enjoy forever!
Nikki was amazing! She was so patient with our fussy little newborn and she even extended our shoot a little to make sure we got enough good shots of him. We received our pictures the same day and we were so happy with them! Our little one was fussy but you wouldn't even know it by the photos Nikki captured! I will definitely book her again in the future!
Nikki is fantastic! We booked Nikki to take our long overdue family photos and I am so glad we did for several reasons. First, her vision of the photo session and the variety of images we had to choose from was all I had hoped for and more. I'm so excited with how the photos turned out... it was hard to narrow it down! I was also impressed with how professional Nikki is. Throughout the whole process, her communication was clear and her response time was quick. We received the images to review that same evening and had our edited photos the next day! Thanks to Nikki and her quick turnaround time, I will be able to get my Christmas cards out in time. This is my third year taking family photos with Nikki. I am a happy repeat customer! Nikki is easy to work with, punctual, reasonably priced and has quick turnaround. She offers tips on how to pose, adjusts our clothing and takes cute/fun pictures. I love that Nikki offers nature setting (park or beach) and my personal favorite, urban setting. I have only taken pics with Nikki at urban locations and the pics look really hip. I highly recommend Nikki. Thank you for capturing memories for my family. :)

I was looking for some simple headshots to use for LinkedIn and the average price for that style of session was $300 or higher. Nikki provides a simple and quick session perfect for those looking to revamp their professional webpages all for under $100! She was extremely professional, made me feel safe and comfortable (during a pandemic) and her work is amazing. Definitely recommend!

I was looking for reasonable photographers that service the Los Angeles County area to take family pictures and pictures of my newborn, I came across Nikki Bacon Photography. From the first meeting, you can clearly tell that Nikki has a passion for photography and takes so much pride in her work. She will not provide you with a product that you don't like 100%. She took amazing pictures of my daughter when she was only a few weeks old, she makes wonderful use of natural light and has such an amazing eye with the lens. I had many compliments when I got the pictures I ordered, she also includes a disk of all the images, which is a great plus! We also hired her to take some family pictures for Christmas since my daughter was already four months old at the time. She is incredibly creative with placement and knows exactly what look she's looking for with every project that is in her hands. If you aren't sure where you want your photos taken, or what you want exactly, she is wonderful with her own creativity. I haven't come across one client of hers that has been disappointed. I will hire Nikki for any and all of the special events in my daughters and my family's lives, because she does it all!
I'm so happy I found Nikki! I was in desperate search for someone to shoot graduation portraits for me on my campus. I didn't want the plain, generic solid back screen like I did for my undergrad photos. I finally came across Nikki and really loved her work, I thought for sure she would be out of my price range, but her prices are great! She travelled to CSULA to do my photos and they came out so amazing. I received so many compliments on my pictures. She's replies quickly and also works quickly as well.

I booked Nikki for my graduation photos and I really lucked out finding her. She made the session comfortable and helped me to relax in front of the camera. It had been a long time since having my photo taken professionally and I was so nervous. Nikki was great! I was looking for someone to take my graduation photos! I booked her after viewing her portfolio on her website. She was very informative of the session and walked me through it and answered all my questions. My photos came out beautiful! CSULB is a big campus and she was very familiar and knowledgeable of the location and was able to work around all the other graduates who were taking their photos. Most importantly, she made me feel very comfortable during the photoshoot. I don't normally take professional photos, so Im very awkward when it comes to posing but she was very helpful and she guided me with the posing through out the shoot. I believe she truly captures you at your best, as a good photographer should. Thank you again! It was great meeting you and I will definitely contact you again for future photoshoots! read more

I went to Nikki again for another grad session and I am so happy I booked her for my session! We went to the Japanese garden and there was quite a crowd. Where do I begin with Nikki and her amazing people skills and photography skills? I found her through searching all of Yelp for a great photographer based on their portfolio and reviews and stumbled upon Nikki's page. From contacting her about setting up an appointment to texting her with last minute changes (because I'm indecisive), she was so understanding and professional about everything. I'm horrible when it comes to meeting people for the first time, especially when they're going to be taking my picture but I felt at ease with Nikki. She's very knowledgeable about her craft and I highly recommend her if you want to get really high quality photos to stand out from everyone else's graduation photos. read more

Nikki did a wonderful job with my photo session. I'm an author and needed some headshots, and when I got in touch with her she responded right away. We set up a time and place, and she was prompt and professional, knowing exactly how to get a good shot. It was such a pleasure getting to work with her because sometimes it can feel awkward having photos taken, but she made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely contact her if and when I need more photos. read more
