Rafael is incredibly professional and easy to get along with! I recently signed with a new agency and decided to refresh my headshots as a courtesy. I was quite impressed with Rafael's portfolio and he was also nearby so I scheduled a headshot session with him. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in good hands. He provided me with a bunch of options in case I didn't know what background I was looking for yet and we quickly went to work. There's a small amount of setup time between shots but that's to be expected from a one man army and plus I needed time to switch outfits in between looks which works out perfectly. He also provided feedback on what colors work well together and what tone they sort of convey since I wasn't entirely sure what colors I wanted to commit to yet. Throughout the shoot, Rafael was incredibly courteous and skillful with his shots. I had the opportunity to look through every shot he took and they were amazing! I had such a pleasant experience doing my headshots with Rafael that I plan on coming back and doing a lifestyle session with him in the near future. I was easily able to book online, and was given perfect instructions on everything I needed to know before the shoot. It was great working with Rafael on the headshot. Once I booked an appointment over the phone, he sent over an email for confirmation and instruction on the location and where to find parking. I suggest that you are prepared so you won't run late for any booking. I did street parking, paid the meter for well over the actual time of photoshoot. Rafael recommended to be vigilant as many had tickets for going over time than what was paid on the meter. Once I got in the studio, he welcomed me and offered water. He then proceeded to tell me what he's doing to set up the equipments. After that, he told me in advance that he's going to lock the door so no one walk in and interrupt the session. This not only made me feel safe, but valued as a client. I told him what I liked or wanted on the background, and we proceeded to do a few test shot. As the session began, he would give me few tips on how to pose so I could look confident while being approachable. The entire process went smoothly and I was glad I booked him for the headshot. Rafael took his time to get everything right, I wanted to wear my glasses in my picture which led to a trickery lighting situation but he was able to get everything perfect and get rid of the glare. Highly recommend this place! I just got my real estate headshots taken and I'm so happy with my results! My experience with Rafael was great! He welcomed me with water and let me make myself comfortable. There was a cute vanity mirror where I was able to retouch my makeup. During our shoot, he would even hold up a mirror for me to fix any hair that looked out of place. It was very thoughtful. What I liked best during our shoot was that we would look at how the photos came out every couple shots to see what worked and what didn't work.
