Bar Vivant has a lot of wonderful offerings, enough of them that they really deserve better descriptions and recommendations. We started with a pâté dish served with green beans and Dijon mustard, which was delicious and had a wonderful savory richness. I pulled some mustard greens off of another dish at the table and that complimented the steak so much better than fries. The main components of the courses were good but on every course barring the bread, I needed something to balance the course better. The steak having greens to brighten up the richness did wonders, a sauce instead of the spread and chips would compliment the albacore more.
