He took the time to talk through everything with me and even had a specialist come in to discuss how they safely manage patients with sleep apnea during sedation. That bedside discussion really helped put me at ease and made me feel confident moving forward. On the day of surgery, the entire team was incredibly professional and reassuring. I remember getting the IV and oxygen, and then the next thing I knew the procedure was finished. I vaguely remember hearing voices toward the end, but I don't even recall waking up--it just felt like I was suddenly there again. The surgeon and staff were outstanding and made what I expected to be a stressful experience extremely smooth and comfortable. If you're nervous about oral surgery or anesthesia, especially with sleep apnea concerns, I highly recommend them

I was going to leave when I was called back and placed in a dental chair. No one talked to me or told me what would be done. Injected and I was out. I woke up and again no one really attended to me so I left. Got home and found blood all over by face and the teeth that should have been removed were just snapped in half! Could not believe what happened. Had no recourse and am still suffering from his terrible procedure. He should be run out of town. What a jerk. He is just in it for the money. No manners or respect. His rating is a negative 10!

He didn't want to oversee my care because of the possibility that there would be complications and, basically, he didn't want to deal with those complications down the line. Also, they billed me under the Delta Dental code 9310 so they could charge the full rate, rather than D0140, under which I could have gotten the discounted DD rate. I'm sure he's a skilled surgeon, but he prioritizes $$ over patient's well-being.

He quickly told me his office would contact the insurance and he would call to discuss the treatment. He ended our conversation telling me it would be a long wait. I NEVER heard from his office. That is until three weeks ago when I received a call telling me I had an outstanding balance of $250. I explained that I have never received an accounting from them, etc. etc. and ask them to send me a bill. This morning--three maybe four--weeks after the initial call I contacted them asking where the bill is. Once again they claim they sent bills to me. I HAVE NEVER ONCE RECEIVED AN ACCOUNTING of a balance owed. NOR HAS anyone EVER called me about treatment.

Review for Aspen Dental - Chipman Road, Lee's Summit…read more I had dentures made here in September 2025 and paid in full at that time. Last week, one of the front teeth fell out, and I was absolutely horrified. I contacted the office the next day to ask about the warranty or any type of coverage for the work, and was told they would not fix or help in any way unless I paid an additional $600 -- despite the fact that I have a receipt showing a zero balance and have never received a bill from them. I also have dental insurance, but the office informed me that this repair would not be covered. I was very disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service. I believe a business should stand behind its work, especially when a product fails so soon after being completed. I'm sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision. Based on my situation, I would recommend proceeding with caution or exploring other dental providers who stand by the quality of their work and value their patients' trust.
