Drove 30 mins to get there. Arrived the minute they opened. Walking through the door we see the sign saying they can't accommodate parties more than six. There were seven of us. I told the hostess we were more than happy to split our group. There were several open tables. She said "no we won't split up parties do they can't accommodate us". We were forced to leave. We planned a dinner at Nine-Eleven Tavern with friends and family, totaling nine people. Upon arrival, we requested two tables--one for five and another for four. The hostess informed us that the maximum party size was six, so we could not be seated at the tables even though we explained we drove separately and planed which table each person would be sitting at. She was extremely condescending and stuck in her ways not bending at all. She refused to let us sit at two separate tables in the dining area and told us we could either leave or eat at the bar. We chose to stay and eat at the bar because some of our friends had yet to try their wings. Although, if the bar was full, we would have been turned away altogether. Not a great way to run a business. While at the bar, we overheard a group of four, which included a young child and a baby, informing the hostess that they expected two more guests. The hostess clarified that the children counted towards the six-person limit and stated they couldn't be seated until everyone arrived, also mentioning a 1.5-hour wait once seated. At that point, the dining area was nearly empty with plenty of room for the party to be seated in wait for the other two guests to arrive. To top it off, the restaurant was a sweltering 85 degrees without air conditioning. While the wings are fantastic, the customer service and overall atmosphere were extremely disappointing. This place has amazing wings but is poorly managed. We won't be returning. The bartender helped salvage the evening with his great attitude and customer service. read more

Staff is friendly but every time I go the wait time from ordering to receiving food is always awful. They always say it's because they only have so many fryers but I would think they could come up with a better process. The last time we went someone ordered chicken fingers and we all ordered wings. Our group of 7 wanted to take our out of town friend here to try the wings. We understood that they don't take tables of more than 6 people because its literally a dive...and that's ok. We asked for a table of 5 and a table of 2. Were told they couldn't put tables together & that they couldn't guarantee we'd be close & that they don't split checks. I let her know that we were fine not sitting close and that we certainly were not asking to split any checks. Her response was that 'it didn't work out before' (insert crying laughing emoji).Dumbfounded by the hostess, we went back outside to discuss this with our group. The other 2 (of our group of 7) arrived and we told them to ask for a table of 2 & they refused them because they saw us outside talking to them. We could have been talking to strangers for all they knew. I wish I was making this up.... We went back inside & the 'owner' was now at the hostess podium. We were hoping the hostess wasn't able to comprehend what we were asking, but neither was the owner. Two of us could have been seated at the bar and the others at a table in the dining area, we weren't asking to be close, we weren't asking for tables to be put together & we weren't asking for separate checks. They weren't even busy, they didn't have a line out the door or at all...which was odd considering it was a Friday at 6pm & they have the 'best' wings. My guess is that it has to do with their dismal customer service. The lack of awareness of their stupidity & their inability to make it make sense was incredulous...even a week later. After being told F.U by the 'owner' ( I did say she was being a b), we opted to head over to Adolf's...since our out of town friend hadn't been there. Best decision. This place is cash only, and be prepared to wait. The dining area is very small and they also do not do take out. We arrived at 5:00 and the dining area was already at capacity. We were told the wait was about 30-40 min for a table, and about an hour for food. And she wasn't kidding! We were seated at 5:30 and our food arrived at approx 6:25. We ordered fries (which they are also known for) and 20 medium wings. The menu is on the smaller side and if you're looking for a variety of flavors for wings, this would not be the place. I believe there are 3-4 options. Hot, med, mild. Along with the 20 wings and fries, we had 4 craft beers and our total came to $75. The wings were pretty good. Tasty, meaty, and cooked to perfection.
